Skater Josh and pastel Simon. Little bit angsty.
Enjoy 🙃

Josh was a silent kid. Not a shy one, just silent. He hated speaking. He liked to keep his thoughts to himself, because the world was too cruel to hear them. He had two or three friends at most, all his life. At least they were real friends not fake ones.
He had a dream. He wanted to be a geologist. He didn't have the persistence nor the money to go to univeristy.
He started to work as a waiter in a tiny restaurant downtown. The payment wasn't much, but it was enough to survive.
Survive? you may ask. It sounds awful, however it's true.
He was an orphan. Leastwise that's what he said if anybody asked from his family. His mother was an alcoholic, and his dad left them when he was five.
He had to work from a young age to help out his mum.
He hated his life. He said that he chose the single lifestyle , although he would never admit it, the boy was indeed lonely.
There was only one thing that could make him happy. His skateboard. Whenever he went to the skate park he felt relieved. It was like the world has stopped around him, and he was the last person on Earth. He forgot about how much stress he had in him as he was sliding on his board.
~
One day after his shift, when he went to his favourite park something horrible happened to him. More like to his board. As he was riding it, he slipped on something. The first wheel on its right side came off. Luckily his fall wasn't bad he landed safely.
His board was harmed more than him. Now two wheels were missing and the paint in the front of it was grazed.
"Are you okay?" Came a voice from above the sitting boy.
He looked up and met with glimmering blue eyes and a pretty face.
"Yeah. My board is hurt tho'. "
" That can be repaired. Here." He reached for Josh's hand to help him up from the ground.
"Thanks." He stood up with the help of the unknown blonde.
" I'm Simon. Nice to meet you." He wanted to shake hands with the brunette, but he wasn't paying attention to him.
" Rude." Simon muttered.
Simon was turning around to leave him there, when he heard a sob.
"Are you sure, you're okay?"
" W-why are you still here?" He asked between sobs.
" Because I saw you fall off your skateboard, now you're clearly crying and I want to help. Besides boys like you don't cry for no reason."
Josh dropped his gaze to the ground, board and its pieces in his hand.
" It's okay to cry." Said Simon as he put his hand on Josh's shoulder with a reassuring smile.
The boy looked up at him to meet his blue orbs.
"It's Josh." He mumbled.
" Alright Josh, why don't you come with me to eat some ice-cream?"
" I..."
" It's on me. Come on. There's an ice-cream van there. See?"
Josh nodded and reluctantly followed the slightly taller boy.
