Josh blinked rapidly, not expecting this statement from the blonde man. He opened his mouth to speak, clearly hesitating on what to say, then closed it, repeating the action a few more times.
"You're a funny guy." He said sarcastically, folding his lips into a thin line, as he turned around and left him there dumbfounded.
"Oh come on." Simon huffed, sped-walking out of the auditorium, following the brunette.
When he caught up, he got in front of him, walking backwards as he talked. "I'm so sorry. I thought that maybe.. Just... Forget it." He managed to get out as he tried to collect himself. "I'm Simon by the way." He smiled sweetly, almost bumping into someone as he wasn't watching where he was going.
Josh pulled him out of the other person's way, so now he was walking next to him, stopping in front of different room.
"It's fine. I just didn't expect it." Josh shrugged, a small smile forming on his lips, as he was thinking of his next words.
He sort of changed his mind when he stormed out of the room. The other boy seemed like a nice, thrustworthy guy, not to mention that he was breath-taking in a way that Josh couldn't quite describe. He felt like an asshole for running away from him like that, but in that moment that's what he'd found the most rational thing.
An innocent date, never hurt anyone, right? (wrong lmao)
"Tonight is not good, but you can ask me some other time later." He glanced into the room, then back at the blonde." For now, bye Simon." With that he disappeared behind the door, leaving a smirking Simon in the hallway.
"Tomorrow then." The blonde whispered to himself, biting his lower lip as he was deep in thought, heading where he was supposed to go.

Wednesday.Simon shot out of bed, before his alarm went off. His room-mate, Vik, who was already dressed and fresh, was leaning against the wall in their kitchen with arms crossed over his chest.
Although he was an early-bird, the complete opposite of Simon, they actually got on pretty well. Vik was a smart guy, never leaving his homework and essays for the last minute, unlike the blonde, therefore he could always offer a helping hand to the other man.
"What's gotten into you?" He chuckled, eyeing Simon, who was furiously rummaging through his clothes, or rather different outfits, that he'd threw onto the sofa, after coming out of his room.
The taller of the two, glanced up at him with a smirk. "No one. Yet."
The cinammon boy stood there, burrying his face into his hands, murmuring an 'oh my days', as he shook his head.
"Good luck with them I guess. Or him, if you'd put it like that." Vik let out a chuckle, picking up his rucksack and laptop. "But please, for the love of god, don't bring him here, when that's really happening. I don't want to hear or see it."
He cringed at the mental image with a hand on the doorknob, then added. "Simon I was serious." When the other man just laughed at him.
"Fine, fine, I won't. Don't worry." He reassured him, clasping his stomach that was hurting from laughing so much. "He's not like that anyway."
Simon never brought anyone back to their dorm room just yet anyways, however, Vik didn't want to be met with something that would taint his innocence. And to avert that, he had to make sure that Simon knew that. It was like a flat really, with two bedrooms a living-room, a small kitchen and a bathroom, with the walls paper thin.
"Ok. If you say so." Vik smiled. "I gotta go now. Don't be late if you really wanna impress him."
"I won't."
