A deep sigh escaped Simon's lips after he put down his shot glass on the counter the fourth  time that day. He was sitting alone  in a time-worn bar, on a stool asking for another shot from the bartender; his friends long gone home or just chatting up girls, or boys. He was there because he wanted to have some fun time with the lads, after a long exhausting day of working as a shop assistant.  He didn't even know why he bothered to go there, since whenever they went out, he'd been left alone.

"Simon, bro. Come here for a sec." One of his drunk friends Craig flunged his arms around his neck and pressed his head to his.

"Leave me alone Craig. You are way too drunk for me to handle." The blonde chuckled removing the other boy's arm from around him.

"B-but Simon." He giggled looking at him straight in the eyes, as much as he could. "Look at that dude." He pointed towards a bearded man in his early twenties who was talking to their other friend Tyler. "He's been lo-look... Looking at you the whole night!"

Simon looked towards the directon Craig was pointing at, only to see their tall friend, nobody else.
"Tyler is standing there on his own. What are you talking about?" Simon shook his head ordering another drink.

Craig left his side to see where  the man dissapeard. He approached Tyler and clung onto him to see the unknown boy was still there, talking to his giant friend.

"Heeey!" He greeted the boys giving them the biggest smile he could. "I know you don't know me, but can you come with me?" Craig wiggled his eyebrows towards the brunette.

"Uh.. Sure?" The man's answer came out more like a question than an actual answer, but that didn't stop Craig from grabbing his arm and dragging him towards the bar.

In the meantime Simon gulped down another shot of vodka and ordered a very girly looking cocktail. A sex on the beach to be exact. Somehow he could still handle his alcohol, even  though he himself wasn't sure how that was possible.

He was playing with the straw in it when he heard Craig whispering a 'hello there' in his ear. He jumped slightly at the unexpected sound, quickly turning aroun almost knocking over his cocktail.

"Hey." A guy stepped aside from behind Craig, smilig at him.

Simon studied his features carefully taking a sip from his beverage. "Hi."

Craig rolled his eyes at the two, then gave a gentle push to the bearded boy. "Sit." He commanded motioning towards a stool next to the blonde, with his head.

The man obeyed, slowly sitting down. He ordered a drink aswell something similar to Simon's.

"Sweet. Now you two just have to talk." Craig giggled leaving them alone.

"I'm Josh." The man turned towards Simon extending his hand towards him to shake.

Simon ignored the polite gesture, not even looking at him. He turned towards the bartender once again asking for a beer this time.

"I think that was enough, my man." The bartender said smiling. "I don't want you to pass out on me." He chuckled cleaning a jar. "It would be a shame for a cutie like you to leave like that." He winked turning around to serve another customer.

Simon huffed and  ignored the flirting yet again and turned towards the other man.
"What did you say?" He smiled apologetically wiping away the vapour on his glass.

"I just told you my name. Nothing special." Josh smiled running his hand through his hair.

"Oh. Sorry, I didn't hear you." Simon smiled observing the boy's face.
