Josh rubbed his eyes forcefully when he woke up around 2 pm after the eventful night he had had the day before. He threw his blanket off of himself as soon as he remembered what happened in the bar, then  started searching for his phone.

After a few more sloply kisses,  Josh called an Uber and escorted the blonde home. He asked for Simon's number,  before he left him tucked in, in his house, for emergency reasons. Or at least that's what he said after he got it, kissing him good night.

When he pressed its button  in an attempt to unlock it, it didn't do anything. He furrowed his eyebrows, thinking about the possibility of him breaking it somehow earlier. Maybe he drenched it in something. He picked it up and smelled it.

"Nope. Can't be broken from that." He murmured to himself plugging it in with a charger. "Come on work."
It slowly but surely turned on as it got power.

"Simon, Simon, Simon." He repeated in his head as he scrolled through his contacts.

When he had found it his finger ghosted over the call button. Instead of pressing that he decided to text him.

Josh: Hey, I'm the guy from yesterday. Just wanted to ask you how are you feeling? :)

"No. Not cool." He deleted the whole thing and started again.

Josh: Hi Simon, I'm not sure if you remember me, but I'm Jay from yesterday.

"No that just sounds harsh in a way, like who am I to assume that he doesn't remember me?" He thought removing the text again. "But wait, what if he does not remember me at all. He could freak out from some random dude texting him that he gave him his number."

He shook his head and closed the contacts without any of the text being sent to the boy who was freaking out from his own mistake for not asking for Josh's real name. Well, Jay's real name.

Josh knew that he had interest in the other boy, however he didn't want to act on it. Not after the chance of Simon not feeling the same way about him, crossed his mind. He was drunk after all.

The next day was Monday. The beginning of a new week, which meant working for Simon.

After he managed to crawl out of bed, eat some breakfast, wash his teeth and put some decent clothes on he was ready for the day.

He walked to the nearest West Fields where he worked and entered Topman. He was the first employee there so he had to open the store, turning off the alarms.

The whole morning was boring, only some people showed up in the store who actually wanted to buy things. Normally he worked at the cash register so he didn't have to worry about people asking for his help when they didn't know where to find things or which product to buy, but today his colleague begged him to change their daily duty, since she was fed up with not being able to reach taller shelves and racks.

So he tieded up the place a bit. Arranged a few jeans and hoodies by their sizes and folded them as neatly as he could. When he was about to put a pile of t-shirts up a shelf somebody cleared their throat behind him, then addressed him.

"Excuse me." They said which made Simon slightly jump  and almost drop the t-shirts.

He shivered at the voice. Although he knew he'd heard it somewhere before, however he just couldn't pinpoint where. So he put on his best fake smile that he mastered through the years of working as a shop assistant, and turned around, arms crossed, after he carefully placed the clothes on the shelf.
