It's a request from @ZRKBABY that I never really got around doing before.
Hope you'll enjoy it. 🙃
_______________________________________It was the third time that day when Josh heard people whispering things about him as he was walking down the hallway of his school. Thankfuly the school's bully didn't came, or was playing the wag, Josh really didn't care where he and his not-so-little group of friends were, as long as they were not there to bother him.
It was his second to last year in highschool but without real friends, (of course he had some people he often talked to but that was nowhere near a real friendship) it was nothing other than suffering and constantly trying to survive.
Once he had a best friend called Tobi. They've known each other from kindergarten, but he had to leave Josh's side in second grade, since his parents got new jobs in another country. Josh was broken because of that. He didn't want to eat, nor sleep. He told his mum almost every day for three years how much he'd missed him and that he was never going to have a such an understanding and kind friend. Maybe this was one reason why he never tried to make friends again.
As he passed by a group of boys he got catcalled and pointed at, but he just ignored them with pink earphones in his ears and shuffled into the class-room for his next period, Maths.
He was a rather shy boy, who didn't feel like hiding his sexuality, which was kind of surprising with such a withdrawn personality. He loved to wear pink, pastel colours in general and baggy jumpers, preferably from the girls section, to hide the shape of his torso. Not like he was chubby, or too thin for that matter, he just didn't like his body, despite being well-built and completely normal. Even when he had to change for PE, he tried to hide himself, already wearing a loose t-shirt for that occasion underneath his hoodie on those days when he had that lesson, or simply got changed in the restroom, in one of the toilet stalls.
He slipped into his seat in the very back row of the room opening his notebook to keep himself occupied by making some doodles till the bell rang.
"Look who's here." He heard the all too familiar husky voice speaking from above in a mocking way, that he wished he's never heard in his life. "Where's your sweater from this time, Tally Weijl?" He snickered making few of his friends chuckle behind him.
Josh pretended like he didn't see him or heard him and kept doing his thing until the guy snatched his notebook away from him and looked at the drawings.
"Wow, pretty impressive." He said sarcastically, showing it around to his people. "But my five year old brother can do better." He laughed earning a glare from the pastel boy.
"Give it back." He hissed, getting up from his chair and reached for the notebook.
The bully, Jake held it above his head out of Josh's reach, as he smirked. "Oh, little boy's angry. Or should I say, little girl? Fag."
That was the last push for Josh to swing his fist and punch him in the face. He managed to hit him square in the nose, making him stumble back, bumping into the desk behind him with his hip.
His friends were about to attack Josh, when a guy from the class jumped in front of Josh's desk, shielding him from any incoming assault.
"Leave him alone." He stated sternly, glaring at the group of kids.
"Oh Minter, you don't even know what you just got yourself into." Jake the bully scoffed, holding his nose. "Besides, why are you protecting him? Are you a little fag now too?"
Minter. Wait. Simon Minter. Josh thought glancing at the blonde who was being threatened and mocked by the biggest douchebag in the world. This guy was the captain of the school's football team, and way too high on the popularity ladder to even acknowledge someone like Josh.
