Simon and Josh were laying in bed next to each other in the dark. Both of them already put their phones away a long time ago, so there was no real reason why they couldn't fall asleep. Simon just tossed and turned as Josh stared up at the ceiling, his hands resting above his stomach.

"Josh, are you awake?" Simon whispered after ten minutes of their sleepless misery.

"Yeah. What's up?" Josh turned onto his side to face his boyfriend, although he couldn't see him he still felt the need to do that, since he felt that Simon's was watching him too.

"I can't sleep." He stated yawning.

"I could tell." The brunette chuckled his fingers fumbling their ways towards the blonde.

When he found him in the almost pitch black room, he wrapped his arms around his frame, tangling their legs together.

"I was thinking,  that maybe... It's time to tell them. About us."

Josh knew that deep down too. They couldn't just hide their relationship forever, especially not from their close friends. But he was scared. Scared of their reactions. He knew that they were going to have to tell their fans eventually too, but he wasn't the only one in this relationship who was terrified of coming out on the internet.

"Who exactly?" Josh breathed out,  tracing lines on the other boy's back.

"Vik and JJ." Simon said lowly, sighing in the end. "Or at least JJ. He deserves to know."

"You're right." He admitted a bit quicker than he intended. "When do you want to tell him?"

"Tomorrow."

"O-okay." He tried to hide his stuttering with clearing his throat afterwards, but Simon caught up on it.

"I know." He paused to feel around for Josh's face for a moment. "I'm afraid too." He planted a small kiss on the other man's lips, then let go of his face. "I'll talk him on my own."

"Why?"

Josh thought that was the worst idea he's ever heard in his life. Anyhow JJ wanted to cover it up, they both knew that JJ wasn't a big fan of gays. And sending Simon there on his own to explain sounded  horrible in his mind.

"Because I'm his best friend. I'll just tell him that I'm interested in someone who has the same gender as me. That's all."

Josh thought for a bit as he played with Simon's hair.

"Fine. But what if he asks further?"

"I'll manage."

The next day after they  woke up and had breakfast Simon had to man up and knock on JJ's door. He figured that his best friend was up, since he heard him earlier listening to something that he'd never heard before, probably his new song's instrumental.

JJ opened it up rather quickly, letting the blonde in with a curious gaze.

"I just want to talk." Simon shrugged as he made his way towards JJ's sofa.

"Cool." The dark skinned boy murmured, closing some pages on his monitor

"Listen,  JJ. I have to tell you something."

Now he got his full attention. JJ always knew when Simon had something on his mind that he wanted to spill. They've been friends for years now after all.

"Okay. What is it?" He smiled removing his headphones from around his neck as he turned towards him in his chair.

"Um. Uh. How do I say this?" Simon scratched the back of his neck struggling to form words. "Iaminlovewithanotherboydon'thateme." He rattled out with one big breath, his face going red from embarassment.
