Chapter 10: Halloween, Halloween

The duo sat in the lobby thinking of what to be for Halloween. Star sat on the floor flipping through Marco's spell book, as he laid upside down on the couch.

"I can't believe Halloween is today! Why couldn't we have did this before hand?"

Marco sighed.

"Because we've been a little busy with school, your spells, and someone turning into a purple, hormonal monster thingy?"

He rolled his eyes, and sighed again.

"Besides. It's only noon. We've got all day to act like children again. Actually?"

"No it's 1:05 Star! We've been reading this book all day. And don't blame me! We don't have this tradition on Mewni so.."

Star looked over at him as he twirled his wand between his fingers.

"On a better note, I know who IM going to be."

"Who?"

He smiled deviously.

"Mackie Hand: Werewolf Edition."

Star laughed.

"That dead karate guy?"

"Don't insult him! He's the master!"

Marco yelled, getting up.

"So come on! And hurry before it's late!"

"Um wait!"

Star got up and closed the spell book.

"About later on... I'm.. going home to see my parents. And you're coming with me."

Marco chuckled.

"But why would i come with you?"

She cleared her throat.

"Um I kind-of told them that.. you're my boyfriend.."

She said embarrassed, as her cheeks flushed red.

"You WHAT?"

"I'm sorry! They kept going on and on about me and my life so I freaked a little! Okay a lot! But we'll only be there for a little. Then we can come back and go to Brandon and his brother's party."

"What party?"

"Their supposedly famous Halloween bash. I guess they throw the best parties. Now please! I'm begging you. Can you just be my boyfriend?"

She poked out her lip, and whimpered like a puppy. Marco couldn't help but smile. 'Damn she's good' he thought.

"Fine. But you owe me."

"Yaaay!!! Hugs!"

She embraced him in a hug as she picked up the book and ran to her room.

"Let me put on my costume!"

She closed the door. Marco's stomach filled with butterflies as he blushed. Tom took a seat next to him, punching Marco in his arm.

"Yo! What's up?"

Marco rubbed his arm, and glared at his friend beside him.

"Hey Tom. Um Star's getting ready-"

He looked over looking him up and down.

"Who in the hell are you supposed to be?"
