Jason's P.O.V
"No. Absolutely not. I do not want either of those people at my daughter's game." I shake my head as I grab the bowl of rolls from the kitchen counter and walk into the dinning room where I set them down on the table with Camilla following right behind me.
"Please daddy!" She tugs on my arm childishly as I roll my eyes and shake her off.
"No. I don't want Chance there and I definitely do not want Gavin there. End of story. Point. Blank. Period." I smile sarcastically at her as she glares at me with her arms crossed over her chest and a pout on her lips.
"That look isn't gonna work on me anymore baby girl, you're almost seventeen years old."
"Yeah, and by the time I'm eighteen in gonna be in college far away from you and you're gonna look back and wonder where the time went." She mutters as she picks at the edge of one of the chairs.
A sigh escapes my mouth.
"C'mere." I mumble as I grab her by her arm gently and tug her into my chest as I rest my chin on the top of her head but tilt my head down so I can still look her in the eyes.
"Please don't remind me that you and Jazzy are leaving me so soon. Let's enjoy this time we have together before you girls have to go out into the real world and become strong independent women. Just stay my two little girls until then, yeah? No more guilt tripping me by using that line." I pout as I place a kiss to her cheek.
She wraps her arms around my torso before burying her head in my chest like she has always done since she was little.
"Okay.. I'm sorry daddy. I didn't mean to be so mean to you." She mumbles.
I chuckle and hug her back.
"It's all good baby, now go wash your hands and get ready for dinner. And tell jazzy what I said about Gavin." I give her a look as she pouts one more time before nodding and pulling away from me to do as she was told.
Jazzy hasn't spoken a word to me ever since our little fight and I haven't been able to find anything to say to her. The words that left her mouth that night and the fact that she sounded like she meant every single one of them hurt me. I don't even know what happened with our relationship but I want it back because just like I told Camilla.. they're going to college soon and that is gonna be a whole other journey on it's own.

"Yeah and then me and Chris raced and I beat him! Then we raced our whole class and I got first place! Chris got second." Jr shrugs as he took a bite of his taco.
"That's good man," I nod as I glance over at Ava who was making airplane noises with the forkful of rice in her hands. I look back at Jr. "So you're the fastest?" I smirk. He smirks back and nods. "Yeah, no one can beat me dad." He says proudly.
"Is that so?" I raise an eyebrow. He nodded as he took a sip of water.
"I bet you I can." I say. He stares at me with a small smile on his face as if he didn't believe me. I shrug.
"No you can't. You're too old." He snickers.
Xander laughs from beside his big brother but Melissa gasps and comes to my defense.
"Daddy's not old! Daddy can beat you good! Right daddy?" She looks up at me innocently from beside me.
"That's right baby girl." I smile and wipe some of the food from her face with my napkin.
