Avalanna's P.O.V
"I really just don't think it's a good idea baby." Jason says for the millionth time as I show him the ad in a magazine for modeling.
A groan leaves my mouth as I show it to him again.
"P-please Jay Jay! I can wear pretty clothes like they do!" I show him the picture of a Victoria Secret's model.
"So they can sexualize you?! Yeah, right." Jason gives me an amused look as he walked into the kitchen from our bedroom we were just in.
"But I can wear more clothes! It d-doesn't have to be V-Victoria Secret!" I whine and watch him grab a bottle of water from the fridge before making his way to the island and sitting down at a stool.
"I don't care. I said no Avalanna." He mumbled as he grabbed an orange from the fruit bowl in the middle of the island.
I cross my arms over my chest and narrow my eyes at him.
"Well I's says yes."
He chuckled as if he didn't believe me and began to peel his orange.
"I's going to call them." I say as I go to walk out the kitchen.
"Get back here Avalanna." Jason called right as I was about to exit the room.
I groan and throw my head back in annoyance as I stomp over to him.
"I said no and no means no. You can't be a model, are you crazy? Did you even see who that ad was for?" He asks as he finished peeling his stupid orange and put the peels on the napkin he was using as a plate.
I nod and look down at the magazine again and smile lightly at the beautiful clothes and girls on the inside of it.
"Yeah, well then you see it's for Coach and you would know they would never even give you a call back." He says.
"Why not?" I ask him as I frown lightly.
He gives me a look before shaking his head and focusing back on his orange.
"Why not Jay Jay?" I ask him a little more sternly.
He sighs before making eye contact with me.
"Because their gonna ask for pictures Avalanna." He says, although I could tell he was holding something back from me.
"So? I's can take good pictures." I mumble.
"And you're gonna have to send your profile to them. Your documents. Their not gonna want you once they see what's on them." Jason says as he stands up to throw his napkin away when he's finished with his orange.
"W-why not?" I feel my heart drop to my stomach at his words.
"Because.. you know." He motions with his hands although I shake my head.
"And where you came from.. you know." He rubbed the back of his neck as he stands in front of me now.
I just shake my head again.
"No, I don't know. Please tell me Jay Jay." I whisper and rest my hands on my hips.
He sighs before nodding to himself and standing up a little straighter.
"Because Avalanna, you were basically adopted. There's no background information on your biological parents, where you come from, who you lived with after they hurt you, your siblings-if you even have any- the hospital you were born at, literally nothing. Nobody wants somebody that's nothing."
