Avalanna's P.O.V

"Thank you so much for coming in Avalanna, once I saw the pictures you submitted I knew you just had to be the new face of Coach." The creative director of Coach, Stuart Vevers, says to me a week later while we sat in his office.

I smile brightly.

"So where did you get those pictures taken? They seem to be from a while ago." He asks as he takes my pictures and puts them back in the folder before looking at me.

"My best friend, D-Dallas. D-Dallas my brother t-to and Dallas takes pictures o-of Ava when Ava w-was a little younger!" I rush to answer his question.

He smiles at me.

"Well they're great. But.." he trails off and the smile on my face instantly disappears when I remember Jason's words ringing in my ears.

I'm nobody. And nobody would want something that's nothing.

His eyes glance up to meet mine.

"I think your looks have matured greatly. You're naturally beautiful and a very caring person from what I can tell, yet you have no pictures from recently?" He asks me.

I loosen up slightly and lightly smile at his words.

"Dallas very busy a-at home with h-his mommy. He has to leave so Dallas can't t-take no pictures. No pictures, remember?" I ask him and he just smiled at me.

"Well what about getting them professionally taken? Or if you want them by someone you know.. you can ask your husband. Your profile here says that you're married, right?" He raises an eyebrow at me.

I nod my head.

"Jay Jay don't know I'm here though, remember? I's come all by myself." I mutter as I look around his office.

"How come he doesn't know Avalanna? Did you tell him?" Mr. Stuart asks me.

"N-no because Jay Jay was very very mean and says you no want me because I-I has a disability." I whisper.

"Why would he say that? He's your husband. He's supposed to support you on everything you want to do Ava. I support my wife one hundred percent. Even in her art classes that she's not very good at but I always compliment her on anyways." He whispers the last part jokingly and widens his eyes which made me laugh at him being silly.

"Besides, I don't see no type of disability on any of these papers?" He raises an eyebrow at me and watches as my face scrunched up in confusion.

"H-huh?" I ask him confused.

He turns the papers towards me and lets me scan over them.

In every single spot that it had the word autism before was now crossed out and unreadable because of a very thick red marker going through them.

"I- the words was right there and-" he cuts me off.

"What word? We don't use those types of words here Ms. Avalanna." He says to me gently as he takes the papers back.

"Why you do that though?" I ask him as I play with my fingers.

He shrugs.

"I didn't do it. But I'm pretty sure it was my artist, also one of my models occasionally." He replies.

"W-what's his name?" I ask him curiously.
