Chapter 28

Avalanna's P.O.V

Me and Jason were now now walking throughout the building together, silence consuming the space between us.

"First of all.. I just want to start off by saying I'm so so sorry for everything I've done and said to you that has h-hurt you and the k-kids and I miss you guys so much that it physically hurts. It physically hurts me Avalanna a-and I don't know what else to do-" he starts to slur his words together weirdly and quickly.

"You don't just hurt Ava," I whisper while looking down at my feet and he quickly shuts up and listens to every word I say as if it were the last thing he'd ever hear. "You hurts Camilla too," my eyes move up to meet his and I see just how tired and how stressed he is.

"You don't gets no more chances when you hit babies b-because babies are only babies.. you hit Ava and Ava- I gets over it and then maybe we be okay.. but you hurt Ava and physically hurts Camilla. Camilla has bad childhood, remember? Camilla no deserve it." I shake my head lightly at him and pull my robe together a little tighter to my body, loving the comfort the white and extremely fluffy comfortable gave me.

"I-I understand that and I'll make it up to her but-" I cut off his frantic speech quietly.

"I's need a little more time Jason. Not just for me but for babies too. I sorry but I think you's needs to go." I whisper quietly, not really wanting him to go but knowing it was what's best for both me and the kids.

"B-baby please-" he goes to grab my hand but I quickly pull it away.

The look of hurt that flashed through his eyes was enough to almost kill me but I had to stay strong.

"Bye bye Jason." I mumble before making my way back to my dressing room where Jr and Melissa were still asleep and waiting for me.

Jr's P.O.V

"There goes the freak," a couple of people, including some of my friends,  snicker and I look to wear they're pointing and see a girl with a basket filled with flowers and she's attaching one to every locker.

So that's where they come from?

I thought the student council had done it to get us all ready for the big game against North Water High in a couple of weeks. They were our rivals and whoever won this game would be moving on to playoffs since we were tied.

Someone whistles and when she turned around to see the source of the noise and where it came from everyone started laughing.

The bell then rang, meaning that class would start in a couple of minutes so we should start heading on our way.

I grab my geometry textbook and shut my locker but when I hear a commotion I turn around and see that a couple of people were laughing because they had slapped the basket from the girls hands and walked away, leaving her to pick them all up by herself.

Looking around me, I notice everyone had left for class already so I walk over to her and groan as I get on my knees next to her and start to help her gather all the different types of flowers.

"Why do you have all these flowers anyways?" I ask her while we pick them up.

She's silent.
