Jason's P.O.V

Something had obviously happened.

I just didn't know what.

As we drove back home from Melissa's tournament I couldn't help but notice we were short by two people: Chance and Deejay.

I had tried to ask Camilla about it but she just brushed me off. Jazzy was even more quiet then usual and Gavin was just out of the equation.

When we finally did get home though, Jazzy walked Gavin to his car and I watch in confusion as Camilla walks right past all of us without a word.

What did I miss?

***********

"Congratulations baby." I smile at Melissa as I set down a big bowl of chocolate and vanilla ice cream in front of her as her congratulatory desert later that day.

"Thank you daddy!" She beams up at me happily as I chuckle and kiss her head before placing a bowl in front of Xander, Jr, and Avalanna.

"You deserve it sweetheart." I sit down next to her and watch as Avalanna covers her ice cream in fudge.

"You want some ice cream with that babe?" I tease her as she glances at me before sprinkling chocolate sprinkles on it.

"J-Jay Jay puts candies in ice cream please. Please jay jay, remember candies in ice cream? Remember please?" She mutters as she passes the fudge to Jr.

"Okay.. since you asked so nicely." I kiss her cheek and get up to get the M&Ms we left on the island and bring them back to her so she can put them in her little sundae.

"I scored five goals in my last game daddy! Did you see me?" Melissa taps my arm as she crushes some Oreos in her ice cream.

"Yeah princess, I'm very proud of you. Now you get to go to Florida!" I tickle her sides and laugh as she giggles uncontrollably.

"Yeah.. you did better than all your other games combined." Jr says as he puts a spoonful of ice cream in his mouth.

I send him a glare and he shrugs his shoulders at me. "It's true."

I roll my eyes.

"You did great sweetie." I smile at her.

The smile hasn't left her face and only grew bigger as she soaked up all the praise.

"Yeah.. I did really good because Chance gave me his special lucky necklace. I had to give it back to him after I played but he wasn't there." She shrugs as she continues to eat.

I furrow my eyebrows and go to ask her what she's talking about when I hear footsteps coming down the stairs.

We all look up to see Jazzy.

"J-Jazzy! Jazzy wants ice cream sundaes? Ice cream sundaes is very very good, remember?!" Avalanna speaks up.

Jazzy smiled small and nods before making her way and sitting next to Jr before fixing her bowl.

"Where's your sister?" I ask her after a couple minutes of only hearing spoons hit the bowls.

"Right there." She mutters as she points to Melissa.
