My father woke me at 5 am in the morning. We had to be at the airport for 6:30. Our flight is leaving at 8 am so that gives us time to loiter a little. I quickly got up and dressed in my airplane outfit. It consisted of leggings and a sweater, with a tank top under. We packed the car and started towards the airport. My father and I had to eat breakfast at a little cafe in the airport.

We had no trouble at security and found our terminal pretty easy. We sat in the uncomfortable seats of the terminal waiting area, I wiggle my bum around in an attempt to get comfortable. I reach down to my tote bag I was using as a carry-on and grabbed my phone and headphones.

I turn on my music, leaning my head back as my dad pulls out his work laptop. We wait for about 30 minutes when finally a voice comes over the speakers above. "Flight 334 with destination to Maui is now boarding. At this time can first class and persons needing extra assistance please board."

My dad taps me on the shoulder. "This is us," he says packing up his things. I get up, collecting my tote in the process, making my way to the front desk. The stewardess scans my boarding pass and checks my passport, allowing us to enter the plane. My father stops in front of a luxurious pod.

"This is yours." he says with a smirk.

"What?" I asked shocked. "We are flying first class and this pod is yours," he explains, I smile, slurring an abundance of thank yous and sit in the amazingly large seat. I get comfortable ready for the 10-hour flight. The flight was nothing out of the ordinary, other than the fact I was in first class. Other than a little turbulence half way though, the flight was a smooth ride.

I exit the plane, already feeling the refreshing ocean air prick my skin even though we were still in an airport. My dad and I go through customs and get our luggage off the conveyer belt. I peel off my sweatshirt before we exit the airport already getting feeling the tropical heat. The sliding doors open and a cool breeze of fresh Hawaiian air hits my face and brushes through my brown long hair.

A car pulls in front of my dad and I. The drive come out, taking my bags from me and placing it in the trunk. I slid into the car, looking out the window. It's about an hour drive until we pull in front of a resort. From what I can tell, it looks amazing.

The drive is lined with trees that have hanging lanterns on them, beautiful colorful gardens scattered on the lot, and a beautiful shell path leading to the lobby doors. We enter the lobby of the hotel, I take in the open concept, the view of the large pools and the beautiful greenery. It was gorgeous.

"Aloha Mr. Wolf," the girl working the front desk says. She had I tight bun and a large white flower tucked behind her ear. "We have your room all ready, here is your room keys and your wifi password. Do you need a concierge for your luggage?" she asked.

"Yes," my father replied, "that would be nice, thank you." As he said this a man in a red coat and white gloves came to us, taking our luggage and leading us to our room. We enter an elevator, riding it up 10 floors. We enter the sweet that my father and I are to stay in and I was in awe. We enter a living room complete with a flat screen t.v and beautiful couches. There was a mini kitchen and a small dining table made to seat 4. There were 2 doors, one on my right and the other to my left.

The whole wall in front of me is a window looking onto the ocean. My father tells me that my room is to the left so I make my way to the door, dragging my luggage. I opened the door to my room and instantly run to the king sized bed. Jumping onto it and snuggling into the fresh sheets. I get up deciding I am going to explore my room more. I open the door leading to a walk-in closet, placing my bags in there. I open the other door to find an amazing bathroom. Two sinks, shower, and bath with rose petals lining the rim. It was amazing. I finally go across the room, opening the french doors leading to my balcony. White flowing curtains get picked up with the breeze I had let into my room.

I can see my dad's balcony beside mine and the ocean in front of me. I walk off the balcony, keeping french doors open remembering I had to get ready for the dinner tonight. There was going to be a bonfire, buffet, and live entertainment. It was semi-fancy, and I wanted to make a good impression to my dad's clients to I decided a nice smokey eye and one of the sundresses I got with the girls would be my look tonight.

Once I am ready I meet my dad in the living room and we make our way to the bonfire
