"what are you doing, the hotel is that way," I say pointing behind us.

"I know," he says. and keeps driving towards downtown. I look at the clock on the dashboard, reading that the time is now 1:30 in the afternoon. The sun was high and the air running through my hair was warm. I decide that it is best if I stop arguing with direction since it seems he has a plan.

Slumping into my seat and sticking my hand out the window, moving my wrist with the currents. We dive into the downtown center, Jason parking the car out front of a small cafe. He put the car in park and gestures for my to exit. He takes me into the cafe leading me to the cash.

"It lunch time, so what do you want?" Jason asked nodding to the menu that was hung on a back wall. I told the cashier my order not bothering to grab my wallet.

If Jason asked me on a date then he would be paying, simple fact. Jason ordered and paid, carrying our tray of food to an empty table. Taking a bite into my burger, I smile at the taste.

"so, how are you so good at arcade games?" he asked munching on a fry.

"I don't know, I don't go to the arcade often," I say with a shrug.

"All luck, no talent," he says shaking his head, "I understand," taking an aggressive bite f his sandwich.

"Hey! I have talent." I yell at him, throwing a fry at his face. "you're just sad because I now rule your kingdom." I say straightening my back.

"ok, whatever you say, princess," he laughs, devouring his burger. We finish our food leaving the cafe 30 minutes later, stomachs full.

"So what now?" I ask him, heading back to the Jeep.

"Well, I was thinking of extending out our 'no exposure to the sun' date to all night as well." He tells me turning on the car.

"Oh" I question, surprised.

"How about a movie?"

"Didn't we watch a lot last night?" I ask

"Well, how about one in an actual movie theater?" I nod at his suggestion and he drives towards the small cinema. There were three movies playing for the time we wanted. A romance, a horror, and an action.

Jason tried relentlessly to get me to watch the horror, though I would not budge on my decision.  I would not be watching any scary film in the near future. After much argument, he finally gave into watching the action movie that was playing.

We got our tickets and I went into the theater to scout out good seats while Jason got food. I waited patiently as the commercials rolled and the theater becoming more packed.

I see Jason walk into the theater, juggling the concession. He reached our seats putting the drinks into the holder in the armrests.

"I got us one large popcorn because it was cheaper than two small bags," he tells me and continues to put things down. The like a truck hit him he stutter out, "if you don't want to share I can go get my own."

"Is fine," I reassure him.

He sighed, "oh good. I also didn't know what candy you like so I just got the basics" he tells me gesturing to the 5 different bags of candy.

My eyebrows raise at his aggressive amount, though before I could say anything the light dim and the movie starts.  Every now and then Jason and I hands would brush as we dived to stuff our mouths with popcorn.

Half way through the movie a man had to walk through our isle to get to the bathroom, causing everyone to have to shift out of the way. Jason grabs my thigh to warn me to shift so the man could get through, the touch sending shivers down my spine.

The man eventually came back from the restroom and settled in his seat, Jason's hand still resting on my thigh. The warm weight of his hand stayed there till the lights were turned back on and we left the theater.
