In Deep (rewriting?? )

I wake to Jason gently tapping my shoulder. "You have slept long if you sleep more you won't sleep tonight," he tells me sincerely, looking sad to wake my peaceful slumber.

"What time is is?" I ask, breaking in his alone, my head still nestled into his shoulder.

'2 PM" he replied, getting off the bed and retrieving the aloe. "I tried to wake you 3 hours ago, though you were very mad, so I put some more aloe on you when you were sleeping. We should put more on now so that you don't feel sore and it will heal faster.

I also texted my dad to tell your dad that you have a really bad sunburn and to bring you more sunscreen and medical aloe vera when he comes home." he tells me, acting like a mother, frantically trying to make my discomfort go away.

I slide off my shirt, already in less pain than this morning. He slathers the aloe vera onto my body and gives me my original sleep shirt that is now cold and damp. He gives me another Advil and a water bottle, instructing me to swallow. He leaves the room and comes back with the tub of ice cream, now frozen.

He hops onto my bed and I see he only ate one-fourth if the chocolate ice cream. He hands me a spoon and I dig in. He switched from some soccer match that was playing to the menu for on demand. "what movie do you want to watch?"

"I don't know, what are my options."

"well, " he says dramatically, clicking on the movie section. We look through the selection, eventually choosing an action film. I lean onto my pillows and watch the movie.

My dad comes in and drops off the things he was supposed to pick up, nodding to Jason and leaving telling me has to go to dinner tonight and won't be home till late. I hear the front door close hearing my dad yelling things about keeping our actions pg.

We watch one movie after another until the sun finally sets. I hear Jason deep breathing and look to him. His face peaceful with sleep. I reach over and brush a fallen hair off his forehead.

I have alway wanted to do that. Realizing my hand was still resting on his forehead I quickly snap it away. I look at the clock and see that it is one in the morning, which means that it would be 5 in the afternoon back home.

Uncomfortably getting off the bed, I pick up my phone and go to the living room. I start a conference call with Becky and Jessica, praying they pick up. "Hello?' Becky yelled.

"Aloha bitches," Becky comes in.

"Hi guys," I say quietly.

"Why are you so quiet?' asked Becky.

"It's one a.m here," and I hear a bunch of 'oh's'

"sooooooo?" Jessica asked. "What's it likes? How's Jason? Have you done anything cool yet?"

"Ya it's been pretty amazing," I start to recite everything that has happened over the last few days. The days at the beach, my waterfall adventure, how Jason and I have become friends.

"Wait you and Jason are friends?" asked Jessica. "Like you talk and have fun together friends, or acquaintances friends."

"Well," I say dragging on. "We are pretty good friend." I continue to tell them about my super bad sunburn and how he came to my aid. I also shared the information that he was currently sleeping in my bed.

"HE IS WHAT?' Becky yelled.

"Wait," said Jessica. Interrupting Beckey. "You still like him right?"

"Yes Jessica, I am still helplessly in love with Jason Blackthorn."

We continue talking for a little longer. They tell me of their activities during the summer, Becky had gone back to the restaurant with the cute boy 8 times and has figured out his work schedule, she had also found out that his name was Ethan.

Once everything had been said, I yawn telling them I must go to bed. I slowly walk to my dad's room, peeking into his door and see him soundly snoring. I crawl back to my room, sliding into bed beside Jason. As I turn over to fix my pillow I swear I saw Jason's eyes snap close.
