I wake up to my phone ringing. I look over to see Ethan's name on the screen.

"Hello," I answer, my voice hoarse with sleep.

"Why hello there party animal."

"Umm hi?" I answer back, unsure of how he knew I was partying last night.

"You had some fun last night," he continues.

"I did?" I asked, still unsure of what I did exactly last night.

"Yes, you called me at around 6 in the morning my time and had a lot to say," he said.

"Omg," I say, shoving my head into my pillow in embarrassment.

"You professed your undying love for me even though you have never met me and continued to tell me how handsome I am even though you have never seen me and how you wish to marry me," he tells me dramatically.

"I did not," I groan.

"No, no, although you did tell me how I am an amazing person, so I take that as professing your love for me. Then, you proceed to cry to me about how Jason is not an amazing person, and then screamed how you were going to swim in the ocean until I talked you out of it because it was 1 in the morning and you were drunk."

"Did I say anything else?"

"No, not really."

"Urg... my head hurts," I say, blocking the sun that was streaming through my window.

"I'm sure it does, you were very intoxicated from what I could tell from over the phone."

"Omg, I am so sorry. Did I wake you up when I called you?"

"No, I was on my way to the gym so you were fine."

"The gym that early in the summer? Wow, dedicated."

"What can I say? A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do to keep this god-like physique."

"Ohh, am I to assume it is impressive?" I ask with a giggle.

"Well, if I do say so myself," he replies

"And what if I ask you to show me?" I ask, although we both go silent at the realization that my joke had caused us both. The realization that even though we have been talking every day for the past 3 days, we don't even know what the other looks like.

"Some time you will, he responds. I place the phone on my bed.

"I have to start packing so you're on speakerphone by the way," I tell him as I pull out my suitcase. "It is crazy that at 8 am tomorrow I will be on a plane going home."

"Where is home?" he asked me.

"It's a small town," I say, sure he wouldn't know the town.

"Hum, try me," he says

"Well, it's kinda around the Canadian side of Niagara Falls."

Really?" he asks me in disbelief.

"Yeah, why?"

"This is going to sound crazy, but I live 30 minutes from Niagara," he tells me.

"Your kidding."
"No, I'm not."
"What school do you go to?" I ask.

"You won't know it," he says quickly.

"Try me," I say, folding a blue tank top and putting it into my bag.

"Trust me," he says again.

"Okay, well, I'm going to go spend my last day in the sun. I'll text you when I get back from the beach," I say.

"Okay," he replies and then I hang up the phone. With that, I put my bathing suit on and make my way to the beach for the last time on this trip. I claim my place on a beach chair and feel the sun turning my skin brown. Although, the relaxation was short lives as I hear an annoying voice to my left say,

"So there is the girl who stripped in the bar," The voice was from a girl who I didn't know, although she did look familiar. I then look to the girl next to her that I did know. It was the girl that was flirting with Jason last night.

"Hello to you too," I say to the girls, not wanting to stir any drama. The one on the left laughs, her blond hair flicked behind her shoulder.

"You really embarrassed yourself last night," the other brunette spoke. I can feel my cheeks starting to heat, but I could not let my embarrassment show; I couldn't let them get the better of me.

"Yeah, maybe next time you try to steal my man you should make sure you can hold your liquor." I scoff at the statement. Her man? Wasn't she the one stealing my man? Regardless, I have to move on. I will be off this island in 8 hours. Let's make them peaceful. With I deep breath I say,

"I will make sure I take that advice," looking into the blond girl's eyes. "Thank you," and with that, they walk away, unsatisfied with the lack of outburst that occurred. The rest of my day was uneventful, filled with packing and goodbyes. The last dinner with my dad was uneventful as well. I made no contact with Jason and I am thankful for it. So, I go to bed and wait for my dad to wake me up at 6 am to go to the airport.
