We reached my hotel room, he kissed me quickly and turned to leave.

"Hey," I yelled to call him. He turned around and looked to me. "Meet me in the lobby tomorrow at 11:30 in the morning. It's my turn to take you out on a date." I informed him confidently.

"Okay princess, the lobby at 11:30 tomorrow morning." He turned to leave but turned back to tell me, "I do like a girl who can take control," and walked away.

I was really starting to freak out about my date. Was I too forward? Did he even like me that way? What the hell was I going to plan for our date? I flopped onto my bed, sighing in defeat. I made a horrible mistake asking Jason out.

I was staring at the ceiling when my dad walked in, "You still up?" he asked. I sat up and looked at him. "I was just going to ask if you wanted a late night snack. I can order something from room service," he said. An idea popped into my head, triggered by what my father had just said.

I knew what I was going to do! Telling my dad I was tired and needed to sleep, I declined his offer. I also told him that I won't be in the room tomorrow, so that he won't freak out and think that I was actually missing. I closed my eyes, praying for tomorrow to go well.

I was up really early due to some nerves I decided to do my makeup while listening to the latest hits on the radio. Swaying my hips as I leaned over the granite counter, applying mascara to my lashes. I waltz to my closet, grabbing a light blue flowy strappy floor-length sundress.

My now tanned skin enhanced the blue color of the fabric, the plunging neckline made me feel sexy as I admired myself in the mirror

My now tanned skin enhanced the blue color of the fabric, the plunging neckline made me feel sexy as I admired myself in the mirror. Grabbing my purse sitting on the counter, I made my way to the lobby.

I didn't quite understand why, but when my eyes met with Jason's tall frame, I was surprised he was there. I guess at the back of my mind, I did fear that he would not come. Fortunately though, he was actually here for me.

A smile graced my face as I walked towards him. I tapped his shoulder and he look towards me. His eyes landed on me, glancing all over my body focusing on certain areas more than the others.

"Ready to go?" I asked, trying to be oblivious to where he was looking. He nodded and I grabbed his hand pulling him towards the beach. We walked a path beside the beach for a while until we reached a small green area.

I lead him underneath a tree's shade and pulled a blanket out of the basket. I put it down and knelt onto it, starting to set up the food.

I looked up to the still standing figure asking him if he was going to sit down with me. He not so gracefully sat onto the blanket and looked towards the food.

"Did you cook all of these?" he asked in shock.

"Oh god no!" I said "I  would probably burn down the hotel or accidentally poison you. I ordered these. We have Chinese, Thai, Italian, and other options," I told him, gesturing to the filled containers.

I handed him a fork and told him to start digging in. The food was delicious, we devoured it in seconds.

"So Jason, tell me about you," I said pointing towards him with my fork.

"Well, I like soccer and I am doing okay in school," he said, still eating from the container of Chinese food.

I gave him a plain look that silently asked him for more. "Well, I play soccer and I love it, I was actually supposed to be training right now."

"I would rather be in Hawaii," I told him and he nodded taking another large bite.

"Besides, if I was training, I wouldn't have been with you," he said casually causing my cheeks to redden. "What about you?" he asked.

"Well I don't really have any talents," I informed him. He gave me the same look I gave him moments ago."No! I'm serious, no talent. I dance, but not competitively because it takes up too much of my life for me not wanting to make a career out of it.

I read and do nothing with my life. I am not a very special person. I don't even know what I want to do with my life, what makes me happy." I told him, embarrassed that I had just told my crush I have no ambition in life.

"There are a lot of things that make you special," he told me.

"Like what?"

"Well..." he continued "you are funny,  you care about school, and you have a cute birthmark on your left butt cheek. You are confident and weird, outgoing, nice, and people love you. You love to read, which is hot by the way.

So okay, you don't know what you are going to do yet, but who does. Things change, people change, no one knows what will happen tomorrow, let alone two years from now.

Why live thinking of the future when we are in the present. You are special, you are your own person. No one else is you and you are no one else. That's what makes you special.

Not talent or abnormal things you can do. You are special because you are you and that is why I like you."

"Y-you like me?" I stuttered.

"Yes Sarah, I like you very much." he said as he captured my lips on his.
