I can't stop weeping. These tears don't know how to stop. They messed up everything, but it's still me who's at fault for not stopping them. But how can I stop them from falling? Is there even a way to make them stop? Is there even a way to get me out of this place?

Darkness surrounds me. I can't see any light. I can't see any hope that I can survive this. I don't feel anything but pain. Pain that holds my wrists, and ankles to stop me from standing. Pain that drags me down to the ground and never let go of me. Pain that never goes away. Pain that haunts me here in this place......in my dream.

"Please, wake up." I muttered to myself. I wanted to wake up so badly to escape this eerie place but there is nothing I can do. There is nothing I can do except of lying in this cold hard ground and wait for my time to flutter my eyes open and face the reality again.

"Oh dear." I mumbled when I felt something crawling in my legs. My body is still paralyzed but my senses are still awake. I close my eyes and discarded the ideas of having centipedes, worms, or any ugly creatures kissing my thighs.

"Please wake up, Kate. This is only just a dream. Wake up." I mumbled. I stiffened when I felt something wrapped around my neck. It's cold and a little rough. I tried to open my right eye just to glimpse of the creature holding my breath, and I wanted to slap it away but I couldn't. A serpent is hissing at me, and with its yellow slit eyes, I can only see anything but danger.

"Please. Don't bite me. Oh God, please save me." I cried.

As if in a cue, I got my control of my body back and stood up, slapping every creature crawling in my body. I gasped for air, nervous that there will be more creatures to haunt me this time. But after a few minutes, there are no threat to be felt nor seen. I sighed in relief.

"Thank goodne--" I was cut off when the ground started to crack. I felt something slippery in my feet and I stopped myself from shouting because of what I've seen. There are eels swimming from the cracks that electrify my feet making me jump from my place. I looked around and I saw enormous razor teeth around me. My knees turned to jelly and I screamed. I'm amidst of a mouth of this creature below me. I'm going to be a stuff for its belly.

"Wake up, Kate. Wake up!" I exclaimed. I don't want to die. I don't wanna die like this. I don't want to be someone's meal. I felt fear prevailing in my system more when the cracks in the ground grew larger. I embraced myself because of the coldness that I am feeling; the cold that signifies my death.

Am I going to die from a dream? Is this how my life's gonna end?

I closed my eyes as the ground started to collapse. I'm accepting my faith. I'm gonna die. I know I'm gonna die. I'm gonna die in this dream and there is nothing I can do about it.

I heard a groan and the next thing I knew, I was falling. I wonder, am I falling towards the belly of this creature? Or am I falling from a sky scraping building? The fall has been so long that I can't help myself from opening my eyes. And there I saw the sky. The sky with scattered white clouds, and with a mix of aurora rays on it. How beautiful this sky is. Why am I seeing this magnificent scenery? Is it because I'm dying?

"Kate, it's time to wake up." a voice from my back stated. And there I realized that there are arms wrapped around me while protecting me from the ground I am about to hit later on. I glanced at my peripheral vision and I can some strands of long blonde hair wavering with the wind. I tried to look to the person but the person held my chin and prevented me from seeing her.

"Don't look Kate. You are not allowed to see me. Let's just wait for the time, shall we?" she said in a very genuine voice. Out of confusion, I just nodded. She tightened her embrace as we cherish the fall hugging each other.

"I love you, Kate."

My eyes flutter open when I hit my head on my bedside table. I looked around and I felt relieved when I'm finally in my room. I glanced at my wall clock and it's still three am in the morning. Damn those nightmares. I went straight back to my bed and lie down. I closed my eyes and hugged my pillow. The pillow wrapped its arm around me and I felt so secured.

Wait. What? A pillow is hugging me back?

I opened my eyes and I saw a woman lying beside me. She has blonde hair, with a short side bangs in the right side, and she has icy blue eyes that captivated me the moment I saw her. Her carnation lips are smiling to me as if I am her most precious gem.

"Hi Kate. I'm Lucy, and I am your dream."
