"You take away the fangs and the fun, I was born human, too." - Benny Lafitte

"Nice to see you again Lena." Jim said handing me a beer. This was my usual bar I came to when in Boston. Jim knew what I was though everyone else thought I was an agent. After the past few years we became friends not that I really liked having friends, because in my line of work everyone close seems to die.

"More people went missing, the cops called." I told him. "Vamps?" He whispered looking around to make sure no one could heard. "It always is, they seem to be becoming more popular." I told him. He seemed bothered by that."But you still have it under control here right?" He asked.

"I do, don't worry." I told him. He paused "But the girls you found last time were dead." He pointed out. I stared down at the drink in my hands. "Thanks for the reminder." I told him.

"Hey I didn't mean to." He began. "It's fine." I said cutting him off.

"Two beers." A man said coming up to the bar beside me. I noticed it was Dean.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Just working a case." He said.

I got a little defensive "Boston is my town, I've got it covered." I told him.

He scoffed. "I didn't know we owned towns now."

"We don't, I have a way here and I don't need spur of the moment hunters coming in and messing things up." I told him as Sam joined his side. "Look, thanks for helping me earlier but really I've got this."

"Sorry we didn't want to step on anyone's toes, we'll leave in the morning." Sam said, but the look on Dean's face said that he wasn't going anywhere.

The next morning I made my way to the police station, I had to wait because the chief was busy. Apparently two bodies were found last night.

"Like I said we have an agent that knows what she's doing." I heard the chief say.

I looked up and saw Sam and Dean talking to the chief. They stepped over the line.

"Hey." I said with an obvious pissed off tone.

"Hey." Dean said like he was greeting an old friend.

I grabbed him by the collar and shoved him against the wall. His eyes went wide with a touch of fear. "I told you this is my case."

"What did I tell you agent?" The chief asked.

I reluctantly let go of Dean. "No more blood on your carpets." I said.

"So these men aren't with you?" The chief asked.

looked between the two and sighed. "I guess they are now."

The guys followed us to the conference room where the chief showed us all the missing persons files and the files of the ones that were found dead, of course they were all running with the blood dens, and some of them were Vamps on my hit list.

"I'll leave you to it." The chief said leaving the room.

I separated the files into piles of, Dead people, Dead Vamps, still missing, and Vamps on my hit list.

"So what do we do here?" Dean asked.

"You don't do anything, I'm going to the blood dens." I told him.

"Blood dens?" Sam asked confused.

"Are you serious?" I asked.

They didn't say anything, I sighed and explained it to them. "It's a relatively new thing I helped  the vampires came up with, it's almost a trend like going Vegan. They have willing volunteers usually young women in these warehouses that look more like strip clubs." I told them.
