POV: Clayton

"thanks drew, you're a big help. i hate snow," clayton remarks, eyeing the piles of snow surrounding the walkway to the student pick up curb, "oh i forgot to ask, what's everyone's new year's resolutions?" drew rolls him through the last patch of snow and takes a seat on a rock across from him, "oh... you're gonna think mine's stupid..." drew mumbled, wrapping his scarf tighter around his neck.

abby smirked staring at her pink mittens, "probably not as dumb as mine..." clayton rolls his eyes, "fine! i'll go first! my resolution is to get strong enough in therapy to be able to go to school without a wheelchair." drew and abby stare at him, "that's a really good resolution, clay."

clayton smiles proudly, "thank you. your turn drew." drew rolls his eyes and mumbles, "i wanna be liked more..." abby perks up, "hey me too!" drew's face lifts at this news and elbows abby, "cool! oh my moms here, bye guys!" drew runs to his mom's blue car and hops in.

clayton turns back to abby, lifting an eyebrow, "anyone in particular you want to like you?" abby smiles and hides her face with her scarf, "yes." clayton rolls his chair closer, "really? who? drew? cuz he already likes you a lot!" abby peeks her eyes out from her scarf and shakes her head, "...i like alex."
