"she did what?! drew!" henry loses his balance while walking on the concrete barrier over the abandoned dam and frantically grasps onto drew who is below him on the ground. drew helps him down then explains, "kissed me. she kissed me, henry."
henry's mouth still open, his eyes become wider, "yes i heard you goose head, i just can't believe it! when!" drew frowns at the strange insult, "thanksgiving..." henry pulls drew to a stop by his hand, "are you- thanksgiving? that was last week! how- wha... why have you not told me!"
drew pulls his hand out of henry's warm soft mitten hands to rub the back of his head, "i don't know... i was embarrassed..." henry's eyes get soft and his eyebrows go up ever so slightly making him look like a sad puppy. "sorry, but there's nothing for you to be embarrassed of... you just have to tell me right when it happens!"
henry puts one arm around drew's shivering shoulders and takes out to cigarettes and a lighter. "ya know if anything, i should be embarrassed i haven't already made a move on you." the boys laugh and light their cigarettes.
