drew watches as clayton as he thoughtfully browses the different club options for extra credit. "remind me again why you don't have this unbearable stress on your shoulders?" he asks, not taking his eyes off the wall of sign up sheets.drew laughs, "i was in soccer last year, so they already let me decide whether or not i wanted to continue; which i am."
clayton just burrows his brows more at this, "well that's annoying. alright... i think i know. poetry it is." he signs his name with a blue pen then turns to drew, "shall we."
the two of them spot suzy and henry outside in the quad. as they walk down the stairs, clayton slowly builds up to asking, "so you and suzy... how? and why?" drew forces a blank face, "what do you mean? like why are we together? i dont know, shes one of my best friends and it kinda just happened, ya know?"
clayton breathily laughs, "no i don't. but okay. she just seems very protective and possessive of you. she almost bit abby yesterday. does that happen a lot?" drew sighs, "more than i'd like, yeah."
they push open the doors and walk out into the warm humid quad. "well, what's henry's deal. he seems pretty cool. he have a girlfriend?" drew thinks for a minute, "no... he doesn't. i wonder why?" clayton gives a little shrug and nods.
