Child of Legends II: Prince of Space

Chapter Nine

That evening, we all gathered around the campfire roasting hot dogs. All the Camp Ultra kids were there too. I sat next to Aurelia, who was wearing the same outfit as before, albeit with a frilly mob-cap. She really looked like a Nihilego when wearing that.

"So..." Vicky said, "I'm sure a lot of you have interacted with the UB kids, at least a little. So, Camp Ultra kids, tell me one thing you like about Camp Arceus so far. Let's start with you." she said, pointing to Callista.

"What I like about Camp Arceus," she began, "is how nice the kids here are. They aren't gossiping and backstabbing mean girls like some of the Pheromosa kids are." One of the other Pheromosa girls angrily glared at her.

Kirbie said "the food". Hoshiko said "how serene it is". Kari said "it's way better than having to sit in that boat". Jojo said "the Regigigas kids, those guys can really lift". Elaine said "the fact that they have Doritos".

Vicky then pointed to Aurelia. "And how about you?" she asked.

"My favorite thing about Camp Arceus is, by far, Diane Almaz. She's so nice and a great friend." Aurelia said, looking up at me. 

I blushed. "Awww, thank you." I said as I gave her a hug.

After that, we all ate our hot dogs and then went back to our cabins. When me and the UB kids had returned to our room, we all changed into pajamas. I changed into my pajamas with different colored Pokéblocks all over them. I remember picking those out by myself when I was 11, because Pokéblocks were (and still are) my favorite food.

I then looked at the other girls. Elaine was wearing a T-shirt with "GET REKT" on it and pajama pants with a pixel pattern. Callista was wearing pajama shorts and a tank top. Hoshiko was wearing a sea-foam green night gown with matching slippers. Kari was wearing a Bewear kigurimi. And Aurelia was wearing a lacy white nightgown with a matching night cap.

"Can someone tell me a bedtime story?" Kari asked. 

"Okay. This one's called The Ugly Binacle." Elaine snapped, just wanting to shut her up. "Once there was an ugly Binacle. He was so ugly that everyone died. The End." 

Kari looked at her. "That was a great story!" she said, finally smiling for once.

Aurelia got out a book and began to read. So, naturally, I got out a book and began to read it as well. After some time, I decided it was time for everyone to go to bed. 

"Okay, I guess it's time to turn off the lights." I said. "I'll go turn off the lights in the boy's room." Then I went to turn off the lights in the boy's room. "Goodnight, guys." I said. Then I went back to the girl's room. "Sweet dreams, ladies." I said as I turned off the light.

After that, I crawled into bed and fell asleep. As I fell asleep, one thing was on my mind...

This is going to be one intense game of kickball...
