Child of Legends II: Prince of Space

Chapter Twelve

As the Camp Ultra kids got on the boat and left, I waved good-bye to Aurelia. She waved back. I knew for sure I was going to miss her. Then, the boat left.

Terrence walked up to me. "You did amazing, sweetheart." he said to me. 

"Thanks, honey." I said to him as we hugged each other.

"Oooooo! Love is in the air!" Lucy said. 

"False. Nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, water vapor, and argon are in the air." Kitty replied. "And even then, love is a mere concept used to describe the rush of dopamine and serotonin that organisms experience when they want to mate with each other. So it is scientifically impossible for love to be in the air."

"...Do you watch Rick and Morty?" Gigi replied in a snarky manner.

Suddenly, we heard a ship horn, and a great shadow fell over the camp. A gigantic black boat with a red "R" on the side stopped in front of the camp, and a team of men wearing black uniforms with a big red R on them and gray gloves and boots got off. Everyone from Kanto and Johto, including Lucy, gasped. "It's Team Rocket!" Vicky exclaimed. 

Then, the Team Rocket Grunts started to take people away. They picked up Kitty and began to take her to their ship, causing Reggie to attack, but one of the grunts sent out their Drowzee and commanded it to use Hypnosis, causing Reggie to fall asleep, and they dragged him to the ship. Gigi went after them, but they used Hypnosis on her too and they dragged her to the ship. They then took Lucy, which infuriated me, causing me to attack them as well, but they picked me up and held me so tightly I couldn't escape. Terrence and Paul both chased after me, but they were caught too. Then the Drowzee used Hypnosis on me too, and I was falling asleep. Then they took us all to the boat, and as the door closed and I was drifting off, I heard a little girl talking with Vicky.

"Do you think they're coming back?"

"Of course they will. They're with Diane."

Then I passed out.

When I woke up, I was in a prison cell with Terrence, Lucy, Reggie, Gigi, Paul, and Kitty. "What... what just happened?" Lucy asked. 

A Team Rocket Grunt, who was guarding our cell, turned around and responded. 

"Don't you see, children? You've been kidnapped."
