"Guys..." Alina's whisper filled their minds. "It's her demon..."Aisha remarked, failing to mask her panic.

"Shit..." muttered Jay, giving his girlfriend a concerned look as they both tried desperately to connect with her.

Minutes had gone by as they stood in silence, with their minds screaming her name. Finally, Alina's voice reached them again. "Guys, what in the actual hell was that?" she gasped out, her mind apparently still not caught on.

"You always appear so shocked, it's ridiculous," Jay rolled his eyes while Aisha simply laughed.

"Shut up," Alina groaned in response. "Where is your better three quarters?"

Jay's cry of outrage was promptly ignored by the two girls who conversed for a few moments before the three of them closed their minds off once again.

Jay kissed her forehead and took a deep breath. Aisha sighed in a mix of annoyance and defeat, preparing herself for yet another pointless argument.

"Baby... you know my demon will come out sooner or later too..." he started and she felt her insides burning.

"Jay, we are not having this conversation again. If it comes out to play, we will handle it," she sighed, unable to hide the quiet desperation that seeped into her tone.

"Aisha, it's a killer. What if it decides to kill you? Because last time I checked, you can die."

"What if we can't die, Jay?"

"I'm fairly sure we can be killed. Almost as much as I'm sure I will be the one who kills you."

"Jay, I already promised you I will not let you hurt me, okay?" she sighed out, a heart breaking mixture of anger, despair and defeat clear in her tone as she gently pushed him away from her, removing herself from his embrace.

Truth be told, she really wouldn't bother stopping him if he ever attacked her. The life she was living has been nothing but hell, her days merged together, no escape the comfort of sleep could bring... if there was an opportunity for her to end it, she would take it in a heartbeat.

"I'm going out for a walk. Call me when you stop being an idiot," she deadpanned, taking her phone out to text Alina. She needed to rant.

In hindsight, meeting at a graveyard to discuss her boyfriend's claims he will murder her might be perceived as a lack of judgement but the rows of cold tombstones surrounded with mostly already cold candles were surprisingly calming, working to cool down the burning anger inside of her.

Walking through the gates, she saw Alina sitting next to her mother's grave, leaning on a statue of a white angel. Aisha approached her, plopping herself down next to her. Alina probed her to just open her mind for her, knowing words might be too hard to form at her present state.

They sat in silence for what might have been hours or mare minutes as Aisha's mind kept playing all the arguments she had had with Jay over the past couple of weeks they had been dating. Funnily enough, they had known each other for months but he had never been seen as a treat to her before their relationship status had changed.

Alina just sat beside the brunette, keeping her thoughts firmly shut as she listened to Jay saying he will end Aisha's life over and over again.
