seven | a week later

Colbys's POV

I couldn't stop thinking about her.

We haven't hung out yet since the party last week but I think Sam is inviting her over for a movie night.

I am so excited.

She is so funny and amazing.

We've been texting but she hasn't been able to meet up due to school.

She is so beautiful.

She sends me photos of her in class, in her bed, at the grocery store with her mom.

She doesn't even need to try.

She just look perfect.

"Colby!" I hear Corey shouting from downstairs.

I get up and walk downstairs to see what he needs.

I walk into the kitchen to see him and Devyn preparing snacks.

I sit down at one of the bar stools and eat some gummy worms.

"Is that girl you like coming over tonight?" Devyn says wiggling her eyebrows.

Corey joins her in tormenting me.

"I think so, you'll need to ask Sam" I say ignoring them and grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge.

I head into the game room and set up Netflix.

Me and Aaron pick a movie for tonight.

I head upstairs for a shower.

Ronnie❤: Hey is the movie night still on?

To Ronnie❤: Yeah we are gonna start at 7

Ronnie❤: oh cool I still have 10 minutes to get there.

Ronnie❤: see you then xo

I smile and lock my phone.

After showering and rubbing my head with a towel.

I put on a pair of joggers and a hoodie.

I head downstairs and to the game room to see Katrina and Devyn sitting in the living room.

Before I walk in, I hear her voice.

"I don't know if he likes me"

"Are you crazy?" Katrina exclaims,

"Yeah he hasn't shut up about you" Devyn says giggling along with Kat and Ronnie.

"He told Sam and me after you left that he really likes you" Katrina says and Devyn nods.

"Yeah make a move, girl" they both say.

"You know what maybe I will" Ronnie says in a confident manner.

I can't wait any longer to see her.

I turn around the corner on my phone acting as if I didn't hear the conversation.

I lock it and put it on the couch.

"Hey" I say looking down at her.

She smiles,

"Hi" she replies in her soft voice.

We look at each other for a moment.

She looked at my lips and I looked at hers.

We both laughed.

"Everyone ready?" Aaron says walking in with Corey, Sam and Elton.

Me and Ronnie quickly turned around.

"Yes" I say at the same time as Ronnie.

"So readyyyyyyy" Devyn says patting the spot beside her while looking at Corey.

He runs over and cuddles her.

Everyone 'awwws' at them.

I want to be them one day.

I want to be like that with Ronnie one day.

Sam sits beside Katrina and she rests her head on his chest.

Aaron sits on one of the big beanbags and Elton sits on the other.

Me and Ronnie sit on the far end of the couch with a blanket.

The same blanket I gave her the night of the party.

It still smells like her.

"Ready?" Elton says holding the remote.

"YES" everyone shouts.

We all laugh but all I can focus on is Ronnie's smile.

Her beautiful smile.

"Okay let's get started" Elton says pressing play.
