Sam's POV
She sat down next to me in front of the desk.
She couldn't stop smiling.
And neither could I.
I missed her so much and I was happy.
Happy that she was coming home today.
I never told Colby because I wanted him to be excited.
Plus he would refuse to stay at the house and wait.
I told everyone else in the house and they were ecstatic.
The house was dull without her there.
She was the music and the magic.
The light and the life of it all.
She took it all with her without even knowing she did but today.
Everyone would be full of life once again.
The music would return.
And I hoped that the sound never left my ears again.
The noisey, irritable, fun sound,
"Are you being serious?" She said with a blank face,
"Yes well I evaluated you and you have been making process faster than I expected. You are back to a steady mental state and as much as I can see, you are safe to go back home" Dr Tryner explained with a warm smile.
Ronnies face grew with energy.
A smile brighter than the sun.
This is what I missed.
Her smile that made any dark day better,
"I don't know what to say. Thank you so much" Ronnie thanked her Doctor,
"Its been a pleasure" Dr Tryner said as she pushed a piece of paper across the desk,
"Sign here and your free to go" she smiled as she pointed with her pen,
"Thank you" I said as I took the pen from her.
Finely signing my name on the form.
Long light strokes giving permission for a human to be free.
My bestfriend to be free.
I placed the pen on the form and slid it across the table.
Standing up along with Ronnie who was practically jumping up and down like a kangaroo.
Dr Tryner walked around the desk and hugged Ronnie,
"Call anytime you need to talk or if you are having any issues" Dr Tryner said as she walked us to the door.
We walked out and head up to her room.
Ran basically.
She quickly grabbed everything that belonged to her, stuffing it into a bag and ran into the bathroom.
After a few moments, she came out dressed in a black flowy dress,
"We are only going home" I chuckled,
"I know. It's the same one I wore to my graduation, it's Colby's favourite" she said as she ran her hands over the material.
Smiling to herself.
I remembered that day.
We were all one big happy family.
It was the day that Colby told me that she was the one.
And that he wanted to be with her forever.
And after today, I hope that they don't ever have to leave each other again,
"Come on, let go home" I said with a relief.
I picked up her bag from the bed and headed for the door.
She quickly rushed to my side and linked her arm with mine.
