Colby's POV

I was driving full speed.

I was too focused on what I had to do and where I had to go.

I think I stopped at one red light but that was only because there was a cop car right behind me.

I was going at 70MPH and I still felt like I was running out of time,

"Colby" Sam said next to me, catching my attention,

"What?" I snapped back in frustration.

I didnt mean to be such a dick or so selfish but he would probably act the same if something was too happen to Kat,

"How can you be so sure that they are headed for the school?" Sam asked.

where it all began.

"Ronnie told me that he hadn't spoke much but that he said.. one thing" I groan trying to forget that her life was in danger,

"And that was?" Sam encouraged me to go on,

"Oh um yeah, 'im going back to where it all began' and when the whole incident happened, it happened in the school parking lot" I say gripping the steering wheel.

I was furious.

We warned him to stay away.

To never even drive down our street.

But he broke into our house.

Into our bedroom and touched her.

He hasn't crossed the line, he was skipping on stripes.

I could see my knuckles turning white due to how hard I was gripping the wheel.

Deep breaths.

I tried my best to calm myself down but it was not helping now that I had the school in my vision.

I sped up and Sam grabbed onto the seat with dear life.

I turned around the corner quickly and zoomed into the parking lot.

Slamming my foot on my break.

I get out my car quicker than lightning and Sam followed.

All that was to be heard in the area was my car engine and the wind.

She had to be in that car.

It's the same car that I remember from the bowling alley.

I walked closer and closer to the car.

Same license plate.

It was definitely his car.

And Ronnie was inside.

I ran to the rear doors and halted.

Sam slowly approached my side and held a finger to his lips.

I leaned down to the window to try see through it.

It was hard enough that it was tinted windows but it was also pitch black outside.

The sun was soon to rise but hadn't yet.

At the point, it felt like it would never rise again.
