Colby's POV

You know that feeling you get when you are on a roller coaster?

That feeling as if your stomach is moving up and down.

All you can do is scream because it feels so good.

It feels so good to scream.

Well that's what I felt like right now.

But I wasn't on a rollercoaster.

I was far from any amusement park.

I was in my bed.

Just thinking.

Thinking about her.

She made me feel like I was on a rollercoaster every second.

Every minute.

Every hour.

Almost a year now that I have felt like I was going up and down on a big dip.

And let me just say, real quick.

I love amusement parks.

I was on Snapchat, talking to Ronnie.

She was okay and safe.

She was watching a movie with Katrina and Devyn.

Damn, she looked so cute.

I locked my phone and set it down on the table.

I was at Tender Greens with Brennen.

It was about 4 in the afternoon.

I had ordered the hunter chicken with BBQ sauce.

Brennen ordered the medium steak.

Brennen puts his cutlery down on his plate.

He rests his elbows on the table and looks at me,

"So, that girl you are living with, what's her name again?" He asks,

"Veronica but we call her Ronnie. She prefers it" I say eating my food.

He nods his head and picks up his fork again.

"Wait why?" I ask.

He's never mentioned her before.

They have met but he hasn't ever spoke of her.

"Huh?" He mumbles through a mouth full of food.

"You've never mentioned her before" I say getting a little suspicious.

"Yeah, it's just that.." he began.

I was becoming more anxious by the second.

"I just seen the way she looked at you and how you looked at her, that's all"

My anxiety started to fade.

I couldn't help but smile.

Thinking about her.

I didn't know she looked at me like the way I look at her.

I clear my throat and Brennen smirks at me,

"She's a good friend, that's all"

Brennen practically choked on his food.

He held up a finger, telling me to wait a second.

"A good friend?!" He exclaims, banging his hands on the table.

The sound of metal clanging together, fills the restaurant.

I try hold back my loud laugh.

Brennen calms himself down and adjusts again.

"Don't you dare sit there and tell me that you are just "Good friends" because that my friend.." he says calm but loudly, using his fingers as quotations.

He leans in and whispers,

"Bullshit." He says proudly and leans back.

I never thought about what others see.

"I really like her, man" I say running my fingers through my hair.

Hell, it was more than just liked.

It was loved.

I loved her.

And now I knew.

She loved me too.

I need to tell her.

I'm in love with her.
