For real.. this shit was so fucking cute wowee

Colby's POV

I heard a gasp and it woke me up.

I was startled and my first instinct was to make sure Ronnie was okay.

And she was better than okay.

She was awake.

Sitting up and looking around.

I was scared to touch her if she would not take to easily to it.

Scared to touch my own girlfriend,

"Colby?" she questioned as she squinted at me,

"Yes. It's me, I'm right here" I reasure her and hold her hand,

"Your shoulder" she gulps as she looks at my bare shoulder,

"My shoulder?"

"Yes your shoulder. The bullet wound" she says quietly, looking down.

That was it.

It wasn't me.

I did everything right.

It was all too soon.

I should of told her that it hasn't heeled properly,

"It doesn't hurt anymore, look" I say lightening the mood or at least trying to as I flick my finger against the scab.

Her eyes wandered my skin in bewilderment,

"Can I?" She asks.

I nodded granting her permission.

I turned around so my back was exposed and she could see the scab properly.

Her hand trailed up my back, sending shivers all over.

Her hand stopped at the wound, stroking circles.

She gently placed her lips onto the mark and left a kiss.

My hand rushed up to hers and grabbed it.

She squeezed back and wrapped her body around mine.

She was so caring and sweet.

She felt warm but still managed to make me shiver.

Although I felt extremely insecure about the wound and the scar it would leave, it reminds me of her.

And what lengths I would go to for her.

I would take 10 more bullets for her.

100 bullets.

A thousand.

She was my girl and I was her man.

We protected each other,

"I love you too" Ronnie said into my ear.

She never did get to say it back from earlier,

"I love you more and I'm sorry about what happened" I said facing her,

"I guess the dick was that good that it made me pass out" she replied while shrugging her shoulders,

"I hate you" I groaned but I just couldn't manage to push the laughter back,

"No you don't. You love me" she responded, knowing what to say by now.

I grabbed her beautiful little head and covered it with kisses.

She giggled and squirmed underneath my grip.

I let her go and headed for the door,

"Hungry?" I asked her,

"Starving" she smirked back.
