Ronnie's POV

Where the hell was I?

It was freezing and the wind hit me like a slap to the face.

I was high up somewhere, I could tell because it was more silent but colder.

My phone was dead and I wasn't exactly close to a plug outlet to the best of my knowledge,

"Hello?" I call out but I hear an echo and no response.

I groan and stumble to my feet.

Searching for a door.

I felt dizzy and weary.

I mean who wouldn't if they had just woken up on a cold floor?

My hands wandered the dark room in which I felt completely hopeless.

I couldn't see anything or hear anything.

I was growing more anxious by the minute.

My hand connects with a metal handle and a sigh of relief leaves my lungs.

I push down and with my luck, it's locked.

I groan and kick the door in frustration.

My foot went right through.

Oh.

Oh right.

It was clear to see that the door was made out quite thin slats of wood.

Old, stained wood.

I crouched down to look out of the new make shift dog door.

I peer out of see my 3 bestfriends laying on the ground, staring at the stars.

I climb out and dust of my shaking limbs,

"What the hell guys?" I yell.

All 3 of their heads snap to my direction,

"You are always pranking us" Devyn says,

"I mean it's only fair" Kat adds,

"Plus it's an amazing view, come look" Amanda states as she pats the rocky terrain beside her.

I slump over and flop to the ground.

Admiring the view.

I felt a vibration through the ground.

I look over to Devyn to see that her phone was lit up on the ground,

"Someone is calling you" I tell her as I glance at the phone, trying to see who was calling.

She picked up the phone and looked at the screen with a confused expression,

"Is everything okay?" Kat asks as she leans in closer to Devyn.

She holds up her screen to show the group.

Colby Brock

"Why is he calling me and not you?" Devyn questions,

"Oh my phone died, are you going to answer it?" I asked Devyn,

"No but you can" she said blankly as she handed me the phone and laid back down again.

I slid the call button along the screen and held the phone to my ear,

"Colby?" I spoke into the phone as all the girls were looking at me.

The line was silent for a moment until a voice spoke out from the other line,

"Ronnie?" Brennen's voice spoke,

"Brennen? Why do you have Colby's phone?" I asked as we were all looking at each other with confusion,

"He is lying in the middle of the road saying that he is waiting on you- I don't know what to do" he spoke but was cut off by a car horn,

"Okay I'm coming, I don't exactly know where I am right now but I will get there as soon as possible" I yelled into the phone as I grabbed my purse and jolted up.

Devyn, Amanda and Kat all stood up with me now with concerned expressions,

"Gotcha" Brennen breathed down the line,

"OH! And the least you could do is pull him off the goddamn road you idiot!",

And with that I hung up.
