It was the big day.
My wedding day.
I finally got to be a groom,
And marry a beautiful bride.
Every guys dream was my reality; and I was the lucky one who got to live it.
Right now at this moment.
I hadn't ever been happier.
This day was going great so far.
I was marrying Ronnie.
Plus,
She told me some important news this morning before we sadly parted ways.
She has an appointment with her doctor next week.
About fertility and how high her chance is of getting pregnant.
We are trying for a baby.
I'm hopefully going to be a dad.
To my own child.
That I will hopefully make with my wife to be,
The love of my life.
The one I knew I had fallen in love with as soon as she stepped into the room.
She had changed everything,
And she was my whole world.
I know that marriage won't change us, it will strengthen us.
For us; it is just a legally documented pact for a lifelong intimate friendship.
Because she was my bestfriend.
Beside all of the other weirdos I knew.
She was my ride or die.
I knew that once we said our vows within a couple of hours,
Those words would never be broken.
What we had was something you would only see in movies nowadays.
But it was actually happening.
I was marrying my princess.
But damn,
She was a queen.
KNOCK KNOCK
"Come in!" I yell as I tighten my light tie.
The handle opens and my bestman walks in.
We exchange a smile and burst out laughing,
"I can't believe you are actually getting married" Sam said in disbelief as he stood back with his hands in his pockets,
"Hey! It will be you in a few months, stop complaining" i detest,
"I'm not complaining" he mumbles as he removes his hands from his pockets and starts swaying.
He looked smart.
Sharp and professional.
He wore a suit, similar to mine because he was the bestman after all.
We started this journey together and we are going out on a high note,
"Hey man.. umm" Sam mumbled with hesitation.
I turned around still with a big cheesy grin on my face.
When I noticed his expression,
My smile faded.
