Colby's POV
Boom. Boom. Boom.
..was all that I could hear.
My eyes were dancing around like they were at a roller rink.
My stomach was at the top of a tall building, hanging off the edge.
My head felt as if it was being hit repeatedly with a sledge hammer.
My whole body felt as if I had been run over by a semi-truck.
I've had hangovers before but this one literally makes me want to hang over the edge of a cliff.
I try to sit up but instantly thump back down onto my cold, soft pillow.
I turn on my side.
Holding my head between my arms.
I open my eyes trying to work up the courage to walk.
On my bedside table was a note along with an Advil and Water.
I swallow the Advil and sip some water.
I pick up the note,
Downstairs for eggs and bacon,
Ronnie xo
I smiled and sat up.
Waiting a while for the room to stop spinning.
I held the walls as I made my long journey down to the kitchen.
A pleasant smell filled my nostrils and only drew me closer.
I turned the corner into the kitchen to see Ronnie standing there.
By the stove with a sizzling pan.
She was wearing an oversized shirt that came to mid thigh.
I wasn't even annoyed that she took my shirt because it simply looked better on her.
She hasn't noticed me yet.
I just quietly sat down behind her on one of the bar stools.
She was moving the bacon around in the pan with a wooden spoon.
She was shaking her hips and her whole body moved with them.
Her hair was in a bun with long pieces hanging out.
I leaned over to look down at her feet.
Of course.
Bunny slippers.
She turned around completely unaware that I was watching her.
She jumped and got a bit of oil on her skin.
Her beautiful skin.
She hissed through her teeth.
She set the pan down on the counter and ran her wrist under the cold tap.
She turned around and turned a light shade of pink.
"Hi" she mumbles,
"Why hello Shakira" I reply with a smirk thinking about how her body moved.
"I hate you" she said laughing.
"No you don't, you love me"
As soon as I said that.
I remember the night when we first kissed.
The movie night.
God she looked so beautiful that night.
She looks beautiful always.
I would do anything to kiss her again.
She just laughed it off and placed some bacon and eggs on my plate.
I pulled her close and kissed her cheek.
It's better than nothing.
"Thank you gorgeous" I say with a large smile.
I fit a piece of bacon into my mouth and start to chew.
She put down the dish towel she was using and sat down on the bar stool next to me.
I glanced at her.
She looked anxious.
I put my fork down and turned around facing her.
Goosebumps on her legs.
Was she nervous or cold?
"Are you okay?" I say placing a hand on her knee.
He head slowly tilted downwards.
Examining my hand.
She gently placed her small hand over mine.
"Colby" she said in a gentle voice.
I gathered my full attention to her.
Ready to listen to every word.
"Mhmm"
"Last night, you were really drunk and you were out of your mind" She begins.
I was trying to think but I couldn't remember.
No matter how hard I tried, i just couldn't find it.
"Did I um.. hurt you?" I say in a shallow voice.
"No. I know you would never hurt me" she said tighting her grip on my hand.
I sighed with relief.
I don't know what I would of done if I would of hurt her.
It's just what she said next.
