Sam's POV

As one ambulance rushed off down the street and out my sight,

Another stayed here in the drive to seek attention to me and the other wounded,

"So what happened?" The woman asked me as she placed an antiseptic wipe onto my jaw.

My eye.

My cheek.

My face in general,

"Just a little lack of communication with a friend, no major harm done" I said shrugging it off.

He was my best friend

That was our first argument.

We can come back from this.

Probably once he wakes up from the garage floor...

I told the medics that it was just an argument that got out of hand.

Colby was out cold so he couldn't exactly try be a good person and confess,

"So who did that?" She asked while nodding her head to a lifeless Colby on the floor,

"I did. Someone had too or he would of never calmed down" I sighed.

He deserved to be knocked out.

Otherwise the police would have with a baton,

"Fair enough" she said as she placed medical tape on my open gashes,

"All done but don't fall asleep for at least 11 hours or so" she instructed as she picked up a pen and clipboard,

"Wait why? Why would I not be allowed to sleep when I'm tired?" I questioned, confused.

My eyelids felt heavy and my body felt as though it was going to collapse at any moment.

She raised the pen to her skull and tapped,

"Concusion" she stated and walked off to the rest of her co workers who were attending to Colby.

I got up and slumped over to everyone who was gathered on the front steps,

"You okay man?" Corey asked as I leaned up against the pillar, hissing in pain.

I raised a finger to my skull and tapped,

"Concusion" I stated,

"Heck well it can't be as bad as what ever the hell you done to him" Elton scoffed as he nodded at Colby,

"Self defence" I held up my hands.

I looked around to see Aaron gone,

"Hey guys? Where is Aaron?" I questioned,

"He went to the hospital with Ronnie" Amanda stated as she sat with Brennen.

Who was leaned up against the front door with his eyes closed.

His chest heaving up and down,

"Wait why is Ronnie at the hospital?" My confusion turning into worry,

"You seriously didn't hear the sound of the car when it hit the gate?" Katrina asked like I was just plain dumb.

Car?

Crash?

"No I was too busy fighting with him" I say referring to Colby.

I looked around for a car.

My eyes stopped as the gate to see Colby's red ford meshed in with metal bars of the gate.

For fuck sake,

"You much for their fairytale ending" Brennen scoffed.

Colby knew what she had been through.

With Lucas and the forceful behaviour.

Even drunk Colby wouldn't do that.

I don't know how they will come back from this.

He basically renacted the moment her whole life change from a sexual assault.

I was there and from what I remember,

It was the most heart breaking thing I have ever expirence and I was just a witness,

Not the victim.

3 months of recovery and it was all thrown away.

Her trust broken down by the man she loved.

Plus she crashed his car.

Colby won't be able to live with the fact,

He was the reason she ran out of the house.

Got in the car and somehow crashed it.

I don't know if they ever will come back from this..
