Ronnie's POV
I felt arms around me.
My arms started to move.
I flung them up grabbing the pair that was helping me.
The hands let go of my feet.
And I stood up as quickly as I could.
I spun around and hugged Sam.
He helped me.
When no one else would.
Where the hell was Colby?
Sam grabbed my hand and ran inside the building.
People following after us but were soon stopped by security.
We continued to run.
We ran to the men's bathroom and locked ourselves inside a stall.
My heart still pounding and my breathing uneasy.
Sam's chest was heaving up and down.
"Are you okay?" Sam said inbetween breaths,
"I will be. Thank you"
"No problem. I thought you were with Colby" Sam says now catching his breath.
"I was but when I turned around he wasn't there" I say.
I was disappointed.
He just left me there.
I understand that I'm not his number 1 priority but it felt nice to be safe until I wasn't.
If it wasn't for Sam I don't know what would of happened.
"Your head" Sam exclaims raising a hand to the back of my ear.
Sam unlocked the stall and stepped out.
Making sure that we hadn't been followed.
"All clear" he said stepping out and running tissue under the tap.
I stepped out of the stall and pushed my hair out of my face.
The bright lights made me feel dizzy but I guess I would have to get used to it.
I couldn't go back out there.
Not right now at least.
I hissed through my teeth as Sam applied pressure to my wound,
"Sorry" Sam apologised with a worried expression,
"No it's okay it means it's getting clean" I say shaking my hands.
"So how are you? Like really" I ask Sam.
We don't speak as much I hoped we did.
We lived together and yes we were bestfriends but I couldn't help but feel bad.
He was so caring and always making sure that I was okay.
When I didn't even stop to think if he was okay.
He sighed with a deep regret,
"Me and Katrina got in a fight last night"
Even when you think the most perfect couples are great, they aren't.
"About what?" I ask, focusing all of my attention on him.
Sam threw the tissue in the trashcan and leaned up against the wall.
"I want her to move in with us but she said it was too soon" he said running his hand through his hair,
"But yous have been dating for almost a year now?" I say confused.
I couldn't think about why Katrina didn't want to move in.
Maybe she was nervous?
"That's what I was thinking. Maybe she is nervous that we won't last" Sam says,
"You have gotten through bigger things in this relationship. You and Kat will be okay, you always are" I reassure Sam, placing a hand on his arm as I lean against the wall with him.
"I hope so. Thank you for talking with me, no one else has bothered" Sam sighs but somehow he seemed happier.
"Don't mention it" I say lightly tapping his chest.
We both laugh and walk towards the door.
Slowly pushing it open and peering out.
"Okay come on" he said cautiously.
I followed behind Sam and we walked through the building.
No crowd.
More importantly.
No Colby.
Where the hell was he?
We turned a corner still searching.
I spoke to soon.
We were surrounded by people yet again.
I felt a strong pair of hand latch onto me and start to drag me toward the back of the building.
I scream as loud as I can.
Hoping that someone would hear me.
"Veronica!" I hear Sam scream and hold his arms out.
I felt hopeless.
