Ronnie's POV

"Omg" I heard faintly from downstairs.

Me and Brennen had also recently purchased a gallon of fake blood.

Leaving a trail up the stairs and onto the landing right outside of my ladders,

"RONNIE!" I heard Colby shout, sending a shiver down my spine,

"Okay now!" Brennen instructed.

I let out a deafening scream that rang through my ears.

Brennen raised his foot and quickly made contact with the floor, sounding off a horrific bang.

Sending my friends into hysteria,

"RONNIE!" I heard repeatedly, the voices growing louder and louder.

Colby was the first to reach the target spot.

Out of breath and looking around overwhelmed.

There they were right underneath me and Brennen's noses.

Sitting like waiting ducks.

All Eight of them,

Colby. Sam. Katrina. Aaron. Elton. Amanda. Corey. Devyn.

"What the hell?" Sam says with confusion,

"I don't understand" Katrina continues,

"This is where we heard the noises" Amanda states,

"Yeah and it's where the blood ends" Elton says wiping his forehead,

"Where is she?" Devyn asks looking down the hall,

"I don't know, someone try call her" Corey says with an arm around Devyn.

Colby quickly grabbed his phone from his pocket and entered his passcode.

He searched through his contacts and stopped at one.

Ronnie❤

I smiled to myself,

"Is it ringing?" Aaron asks looking at Colby.

Everyone was suddenly cut off when my ring tone went off in my pocket.

They all looked at each other in confusion.

Sam was the first to look up.

Then Devyn.

Corey and Elton.

Soon enough they were all looking up at me with concerned faces.

Brennen's head popped out and we both smirked.

They all knew they were doomed.

Quickly and without hesitation, we tipped the paint over the edge and down to the floor.

Screams escaping my friends and the sound of crashing as they hit the floor.

It went almost in slow motion as me and Brennen laughed like sociopaths.

The last drop of paint his the wooden floor.

Laughter broke out as everyone was lying on the floor, covered in colour.

"I hate you so much" Colby said through chuckles,

"No you don't. You love me"
