Colby's POV

My baby.

My girl.

She's gone.

I started hyperventilating as I was hunched over on the smooth tarmac.

I heard the sound of bare feet smacking against the road.

Coming closer and closer.

I didn't even bothered to look up because nothing else mattered.

All that mattered was Ronnie and she wasn't even here.

I don't know where she is.

I don't know if she's okay.

All these thoughts rushed through my brain and I just couldn't help but blame myself,

What is his intentions?

Has he hurt her?

Is he trying to finish what he started?

How am I going to find her?

Why can't he just leave us alone?

Who's shaking my shoulders?

I snap out of it and jolt up.

I see a worried Corey and Sam standing in front of me,

"She's gone" I sob as my shakey hands rise to my forehead.

I couldn't control myself.

"Who's gone? Colby?" Corey says coming closer.

I collapse onto the floor again, with my head held in my arms.

I was shaking so violently that I could start an earthquake.

So many tears continued to spill from my eyes like a tsunami.

Sam crouched down beside me and wrapped his arms around me.

I grabbed his hoodie and screamed into it.

A silent scream almost.

Because my voice cracked and it was airy.

Muffled by my crys.

I was broken.

I felt as though my whole world has fallen on top of me.

I felt the road vibrate almost.

I look down at my bare feet to see my phone lit up with Ronnie's face.

I snatch the phone of the ground quickly.

Standing up and looking around.

"Ronnie? Baby? Is this you?" I croak into the speaker.

There was a long pause.

All I could hear was a running engine and the sound of a blinker.

I heard heavy breathing from the other side of the call.

It was Ronnie.

I knew her breathing.

I knew her,

"Colby?" She whispered with a shakey voice,

"Thank god, where are you?" I dared to ask,

"I'm still in the car, we are at a ga- gas station. He's outside" she muffled through the phone.

I could hear her moving, shuffling around.

"Has he talked to you at all? Has be mentioned where he is going?" I say as my blood starts to boil.

"no n- ot really. all he said was that he was going where it all began." She cried through the phone,

"no no pleas- colby he's coming back. I love you. I love yo-" she whispered into the phone but was soon cut of my the beeping of my phone,

"Ronnie? Ronnie!" I screamed into the phone.

I smacked my head against my sweaty palms.

Sam and Corey were now signalling for the rest of the house.

Colby think.

where it all began.

where it all began.

where it all began.

Where was he taking her?
