Question:
So I was wondering for future references to the book; What do you see Calem as? Rapper? Singer? Dancer?
What would be his concept?

Serena's POV:
'Come on . . .' I scanned the book sections looking for the book I wished to read. Although the lyrics were fully finished already the book was something that brought much memories, reading it once more revived them even if it's small it still manages.

"Good morning! Are you checking out books?"

"Ah! No actually I am here to check in," The familiar voice caught my attention, I zoomed past some bookshelves to see if I was right. "Here, I was hoping to see if there's anyway I could pay to keep it." I squinted my eyes to see what book Ash was holding onto. To my dismay it was the same book I wanted to check out from the library. "I'm sorry sweetie, unless you can pay for it or give us a new copy there won't be anything I can do." The librarian made a face while looking up at Ash.

"How much?"

I hesitated a bit before making a run for it, this book meant the world to me not many have it it stores or library's. "Wait! You can't!" Both of them turned to look at me, I could see Ash annoyingly turn his head a bit.

"And why can't I?" He stared me down, the more I tried to look confident before him he would make me feel small. His brown eyes never left me as I looked around trying to find something to say because nothing seemed to come out of my mouth. "I-I . . . I need that book as well . . ." I could hear him click his tongue on the roof of his mouth.

"Hello, I need help finding this book." The librarian walked away to help a student searching for a book. Every time I looked up at Ash he had a strong glare just towards me, it intimidated me even more then his attitude.

"Calem almost caused a scene because of you. Do you really expect me to be indifferent to you any time soon? I invited you to that stupid party, I took responsibility for tutoring that bean sized head of yours and you can't hold back that boyfriend of yours?"

"H-He's not-"

"I want you to get it through, you may not remember what went down when we were younger but I will always remember what you did. I want you to stick this in your head; I hate your every being." Biting down at my bottom lip, each word he spoke made me flinch, his voice spat poison. "I-I'm sorry." I shouldn't have even spoken to him knowing how he had gotten mad the other day.

He brushed his fingers through his hair before he looked down at the book in his hand. His hesitation was clearly seen in his brown eyes, he clicked his tongue on the roof of his mouth before he slammed the book onto the librarian's desk top and storming off. I bit down on my bottom lip as I saw his figure walking out of the library.

"Huh? Did the young man leave the book?" The librarian came back and gently picked up the book that he left behind. "I-It was on me, how much would it be to buy this from you?" She scanned the books barcode. "This will be ¥1317 (12USD)." It took me a moment to process the number, with the amount left over it wouldn't be enough for my lunch. "I'll take it." I pulled out my money as she held the book towards me with a joyous smile portraying on her lips.

"Thank you!" I slightly bowed my head before making a run out of the library, when I looked around I could see Ash near a vending machine getting a drink out of it. "Ash!" While my book Bag kept hitting on me and while my ponytails kept patting onto either my shoulder or my back I continued to run towards him.

He opened up the can of soda using one hand while he glared at me. "I-I bought the book," Ash began to drink his soda while having one eyebrow raised high. "I-If you want to read it again y-you can borrow it as well!" He continued to drink his soda while I stood there awkwardly trying to change his mood. "I-I'm sorry . . . If you want the book you can have it?" I extended my hand in which the book was in. He looked down at it suspiciously before going back to drinking his soda. "I-"

"Even with the dress I need shoes that will be a perfect match not to mention that I will need to make sure the hairstylist knows what she is doing before she touches my hair." Hearing the voice of Miette I turned around facing the vending machine, crossing my arms over my chest I buried the book. Please don't notice, please don't notice. "Do you think a new look would do or should I ju- Oh! Hello Ash!"

I froze in my place, Miette took notice in Ash. If she saw him she surely could see me in an instant. "Oh, that's also my favorite drink!" Her voice sounded distant, I slowly turned around to find Ash, Miette, and her group all gathered around further away. "Can I have it?" Miette sweetly asked him.

"I have already drank all of it." Was his only response before he walked away, while the girls all stared at him walking away I made a a run for it and vanished out of there before they could even catch a glimpse of me.

"Serena!" I looked over my shoulder to see a certain male running my way, he held onto his beanie as he made his way towards me. Even while everyone turned to look at him he didn't mind and continued to call out for me.

"Hello . . ." I worriedly patted his back as he took a seat next to me, his breathing was heavy but that didn't stop him from genuinely smiling. It was sweet and an innocent feature that suit him perfectly well, his eye-smile was visible and was noticed by some of his 'fans'. "I'm sorry I'm late, I had to put my stuff inside my locker before I got here."

"It's fine!" He looked at the empty table before he looked at me with his eyebrows furrowed. "You don't want any lunch today?" When he said that I realized what I had done, I smiled to reassure him of my upcoming words. "I'm not that hungry, I'll be fine!" I rose my pinky, it was a symbol that meant we promised. Of course I crossed my fingers behind me this the pinky didn't mean anything right now.

"Well I'll go get myself something, I'll be right back, okay?" Calem sets his hand on top of my head, this gesture was always something he would do because of our height differences back in grade school, the thing is that he continues to do this even now. "Okay." He nods his head and leaves me alone at the table again.
I began to move my feet while I waited, the movement of my feet dancing on their own distracted me to the point I didn't notice someone behind me until I heard a voice.

"Hello Serena!" Dawn, Iris, and Cilan all sat down around the lunch table. "Hello!" It was strange seeing how Iris and Cilan had gotten close right off the bat but at the same time it was normal for her to make friends easily. They all had homemade lunches ready and set to go for them to enjoy. "Aren't you going to eat something, Sere?" Iris opened up her bento while looking my way. "Uh no . . . I'm not hungry." Dawn stopped unwrapping her chopsticks and looked at me funny.

"That's odd you would usually be hungry by now. Of course, it wouldn't surprise me if you had ate your food earlier." She answered her own worries and continued on with her meal. I stared at their foods while holding in my breath at the sight. "Misty and May will be here soon enough, Misty had to check up on something while May had to turn in missing work to her teacher." Iris filled me in after eating a portion of her tofu pork.

"I know Drew is out in the school yard, Paul is sleeping in the music room, and Gary is at the gym. I'm not sure where Ash is but I know he won't miss a meal for anything in the world." Cilan filled his mouth with vegetable rice once he told me where his friends were.

"Here you go." I was taken back by a sudden tray of the school's lunch before my eyes, Calem took a seat next to me and began eating his meal as well. "Huh?" I looked at him while he was eating, his beanie was off and his sleeves were pulled up. "I got you lunch, you can't lie to me even if you played the part." He smiled at me before going back to enjoying the school's lunch meal. "Ah . . . Thank you."
