The honey blonde continue to walk right behind the black haired male, both of their paces different but in a way in sync. Serena took notice in that quickly, she tried jogging to be able to walk right next to him and copy Ash's pace but sadly her attempt went down side when he kept walking in a fast motion.

"Do you think . . . You can help me with homework today?" Even when's her breath was running low due to how much energy she has been taking up, it didn't stop her from having gotten the courage to ask this question. The black haired male didn't respond and continued on walking towards his home.

It didn't take long because now all they had to do was cross the street and take a right to finally arrive at his home. "It's really simple and I will be out of your hair once I get it completed, I promise you with my pinky!" She smiled as she held up her hand, her pinky raised up straight. Ash's eyes grew wide at the words she had spoken.

"This will be our secret place, not even Calem can know about this. Okay? Promise me!"

"I promise with my pinky!"

He regained himself and let out an exhale, a way for him to go back to being neutral of having her following him home. "Move." Was all he said as he began running to cross the road, Serena taking a second to process what he had said and what he was doing ran behind him to catch up to Ash. With both of them reaching the other side safely, Ash began to walk again this time slower then he had previously done throughout his journey home.

The minute he opened the gate of his own home, his mother greeted him with a warm smile while she held onto a hose about to water her plants. "Hello Ash! Oh! You brought little Serena! How are you doing, honey?" While Ash ignored his mother and walked right inside, Serena stayed back to greet the older woman. A shy smile formed on her lips as the shorter woman held onto Serena's hands.

"I'm still not over your precious small lips, small nose, and your big Bambi eyes!" The older woman cooed at the appearance of Serena. "What are you doing here? Did Ash invite you over? If he did he's being oddly rude not feeding you, speaking of which have you eaten anything you look awfully thin." Having been embarrassed by the words she spoke, Serena's cheeks began to turn red.

"A-Ash needed to know he way home using a bus so I helped him out . . . I was also hoping to get help from him on my homework." Delia, not being delighted by the words she was hearing drowned for a millisecond before thinking of something. "How about I ask him to help you out, you can stay for dinner as well, how does that sound." Not wanting to decline the offer she was given and completely forgetting her own home matters the teenage female smiled and hesitantly nodded her head.

The older woman squealed silently at the response she got from the honey haired female. "Okay, let's go inside shall we?" She linked arms with Serena before both entered the house happily content.

"I have been wondering if you would be going to the masquerade party happening soon?" The woman questioned the teen as she led her towards the living room. Being taken back by the sudden question Serena didn't speak for a second, hesitating whether to say she would be attending or saying she wouldn't be able to make it to the party. "I-I won't have anything to wear if I do attend." Both of her precious responses had a lot of ways to go, the result of her response wouldn't get further then a simple sympathetic look from the woman, or she thought that would happen.

"Hmm," Delia looked around her home, her eyes trailing towards upstairs. "Stay right here, okay?" Wanting to protest, Serena decided against it and lightly nodded her head. When the woman disappeared, the honey haired female was left on her own awkwardly looking around as she was seated on the couch.

"Serena? What brought you here?" Cilan walked down the steps with a basket full of what seemed to be laundry. "Hello!" She kindly smiled at the green haired male, he put down the basket near the grand piano before making his way towards the other couch near Serena. "Ash needed help with using the bus so I helped him out." She had told this one time now so saying it once again was simple and easy for her without having to stutter.

The towering male -even when sitting down- chuckled a bit. "I see that he actually did it, hopefully he doesn't find Gary hiding in the attic if he does Gary will be a deadman." Having not understood fully the situation, her head tilted only slightly. "What got Gary so mad that Ash had to use the bus to get home?" Curiosity was something she was no stranger to, she had more curiosity from the world then she had memories.

Cilan kept quiet for a minute, not wanting to add coal towards the already lit fire. He thought for an appropriate answer he could give her without actually having to explain further thankfully Ash's mother walked back downstairs with a box. "What do you have there, Mrs. Ketchum." Delia let out a teenage giggle as she took a seat next to Serena and set the box onto her own lap.

"This was supposed to be fo- This is . . . An old dress of mine that I never got to wear because the day didn't come for me to have to but you can try it on if you'd like!" The woman pushed the box towards Serena who had to shake her head in disbelief over the kind gesture. "I-I don't . . . I don't think I can take this." She tried to push back the dress that was yet to be revealed to her very own eyes. "No take backs!" The older woman childishly spoke while gently holding down the box onto Serena's lap. Cilan having seen this childish side of the older woman was no surprised over her antics.

"Come on, Come on! Open it, hurry!" Serena bit down on her bottom lip as she opened the box to reveal a folded up dress. As she pulled it out of its jail, her lips parted at the sight. The wide box that had contained the dress had fallen off Serena's lap after it had been pushed off by the very dress. Her sapphire blue orbs admired the design of the dress, she had fallen madly in love with the attire.

The pink colored off Shoulder long sleeved dress was all sparkly from the top but was pure pink silk for the bottom. Even Cilan looked at the dress with adoration ash they all looked at the now revealed dress. "It looks so beautiful." Serena shook herself from the shock of seeing the dress and turned towards the older woman who was waiting for an actual response.

"I really can't take this, it's such a beautiful dress and I really love it but I can't just take it off your hands." Delia, wanting to reassure the teenager of what she was doing, held onto her chin with one hand. Her gentl touch was enough to keep the female quiet for a bit.

"Honey, I'm already too old for this dress, who else would wear it in this house hold full of all males and no more females? Let's go see if it fits you, then you can really decide. Please?" Her almost pleading eyes had Serena mesmerized and she nodded her head. "Alright, Cilan we will be back!" Delia again giggled like a teenage girl as she led Serena -who held the dress close to her chest- over towards the older woman's bedroom.
