Ash's POV:
I dressed up in the uniform my mother had collected from the school, it was just a plain long-sleeved buttoned up shirt that was tucked into some navy dress pants. The reflection of my own self inside this outfit made me cringe but nonetheless I put on some shoes and picked up my already set up book bag."Morning Ashley!" Gary called out as he happily slid down the railing of the stairs, holding tightly as he slid down. "I told you to stop calling me that." Gary and I were friends since children meaning he knew about my mother forcing me into girls clothing every single day until I turned seven years old. He made sure I never forgot about it though he never uses the nickname when the others are around he knows how much I hate when others find out about it.
I used the set of stairs to come down for breakfast, my mother was setting up the table for all of us while Cilan was helping with the cooking, he had one of my mothers pink aprons over his uniform to prevent it from getting messy.
"Good morning my son!" My mother excitedly outstretched her arms out for a hug, a smile was clearly evident on her lips. It took a lot for me to come near her and hug her, due to our small heigh difference she wrapped her arms around my waist while I wrapped an arm around her neck. "Morning."
"Aren't you excited for your first day of school? Don't worry I made sure the principal makes sure you boys don't get invaded with fans!" She gently dusted my shoulders, wiping imaginary dust from it. "Where is Drew and Paul? Shouldn't they be up by now?" The said boys came down with their headphones wrapped around their necks, Paul having a dark purple one while Drew had a red one.
"Good Morning!" My mother happily smiled at them, since they had moved in she made sure that they all were treated like her own children which made the boys few at home again. "Wait I didn't get my good morning?" Gary complained as he was ready to be fed. It wasn't that my mother didn't like him he just doesn't know when she wants to give others her love and admiration. My mother turned to look at him and waddled towards him.
"How is my big boy?" We all laughed at how her teasing caused him to go red, when it comes to my mother her way of turning us red is through embarrassment. "Breakfast is ready! I made a Thai soup for everyone, I read that it helps your brain when your at school!" Cilan poured a bit of soup into our bowls, my mother happily helped him with handing it out for everyone.
"Thank you." We all said in unison as we began to enjoy the nourishing soup as a breakfast meal. For us, Cilan was the greatest cook no offense to my mother but it always seemed that all he had to do was skim a book of recipes and he will easily cook it up without looking back. Whatever was served we would contently enjoy the meal and be full by the time it's finished.
(Mini Time Skip)
We finally arrived at the school, thankful that no news reporters were given the story of us going back to school. Nobody knew we were coming except for the Yvonne residents but even so I couldn't help but feel as if I could see the step daughter once again.
"Ah! You must be the boys, Cilan, Gary, Paul, Drew, and Ash! I'm the head minister of the whole school!" An elder male around his mid twenty's bowed towards us as he introduced himself we followed his action before paying attention to him once again. "It is a great honor to have such powerful figures in my school! Do you have the final papers for the transfer?" Cilan handed over a manila folder that contained all the information needed for school.
"Thank you! Come with me then!" We followed him into the school and later into the front office where we all scattered around looking at the pictures around while he prepared our schedules for the school year. My eyes trailed towards a picture of a familiar face, his eye smile and his dimpled cheeks as he smiled made me realize who he was. "Gary, isn't this Calem?" Gary came rushing my way and so did the boys intrigued with the sudden name.
