Alyssa looked up at the bright sky above her after she went out of their college building. It's a nice day, the sun was just peeking through the thin clouds.
She rummaged her bag looking for something with a frown, until she found it and took it out with a grin on her face.
"Ba't ka naglabas ng payong?" Ella, her best friend, asked.
"I don't want to get wet. Trust me, kunin mo na rin ang payong mo." Alyssa smirked while looking at Ella.
The latter looked at her intently, and then to the bright sky, and then back to Alyssa. The taller girl just smiled at her while Ella was looking at her like she has three heads.
"Besh, bangag ka ba? The sky is brighter than your skin, tapos uulan?" Ella frowned.
Alyssa just snorted at her friend, she was used being bullied by Ella about her skin complexion, she wasn't offended tho. She loves Ella that much.
"According to my horosco—"
"At kelan pa naging weather broadcaster 'yang horoscope whatsoever na binabasa mo, aber?" Ella cut her off as she raised her eyebrow.
Alyssa just shook her head at her friend; she was still holding the umbrella on her hand and urge Ella to walk with her.
"Pots, my horoscope app never failed me. Remember that time when we went to the bar a week ago?" Alyssa grinned.
"Ate Ly, we're going to a bar, not somewhere na may lamay. Why are you wearing all black?" Bea asked her while rubbing her eyebrow.
"Bey, according to my—"
"According to my horoscope, I should wear all black tonight, undergarments are included." Ella tried to mimic her voice.
Alyssa blushed at the mention of her undergarments because Ella was right. All black, all the way.
"Wait, seriously?" Amy and Bea asked in unison.
"I'm just kid—wait, totoo? Pati bra at panty mo, black!?" Ella widened her eyes.
"Ella!" Alyssa smacks her friend. "You're not supposed to shout that kind of info!"
The flushed face of Alyssa made her three other friends laughed at her, but Alyssa wasn't going to change her mind – or her clothes.
She's been reading her horoscope every single day may it be from a paper or the app on her phone, she also used to read a book about astrology and zodiac signs to see how to keep herself from harm's way.
"Wearing black tonight keeps me away from.." Alyssa trailed off. "anything I won't like."
"Wala pa rin akong tiwala sa mga ganyan." Ella snorted. "Hindi niya nahulaan na madudulas ako sa CR kanina."
"Pots, hindi manghuhula ang app ko, guide lang naman yun tsaka hindi naman kasalanan ng horoscope app yung katangahan mo, tumakbo ba naman sa CR." Alyssa laughed.
"Grabe ka sa 'tanga' ha." Ella rolled her eyes. "Gutom ako eh. Kaya nagmamadali."
"You're always gutom, Ella." Amy snickered.
"Whatever."
"Enough arguing and let's go get turnt!" Bea shouted as she raised her hands.
They all agreed and went on their way – with Bea pushing them to go faster.
Everything was fine during at the bar. The loud music, the flickering lights, and the noisy crowd – everything was just fine.
