I don't know if how long I've been staring at the ceiling since I woke up but it wasn't because I'm problematic or something, I just feel warm and contented.

I am contented with where I am, with what I have and with how I live my life right at this moment.

I couldn't ask for more.

"Hey,"  a soft voice broke my staring competition with the ceiling.

I turned my head and immediately smiled at the woman who entered the room.

Yes, definitely contented with the person I have right now.

"Hi, good morning," I replied with a smile.

She went near the bed and jump herself beside me, we both giggled as she scooted over and put her arm atop my waist.

"Ang laki ng ngiti mo ah," she teased, "Iba talaga kapag kasing ganda ko ang nakikita sa umaga, 'no?"

"Wow," I pretended to be shocked, "Ang aga rin ng kayabangan mo, Mika."

She played hurt with my words as she moved swiftly and straddles above me. I rest my hands on her thighs as I suppress the curving of my lips.

"So, hindi ako maganda?" she pouted cutely, "And you have to always, always call me babe! Why aren't you calling me that?"

I couldn't help myself but laugh at her cuteness. Even though she's as pretty as a goddess, she's also a quirky girl.

"And now you're laughing," she rolled her eyes, "Tingnan natin kung matatawa ka pa dito."

She warned and it took me a while what she meant as she started to take off her shirt. I choked on my own laugh.

"Hey!" I reached for her hands midway, "Oo na, maganda ka sa umaga, sa tanghali at sa gabi."

She smirked. She knew she won.

"You're too easy, babe," she winked as she fix her shirt.

It was my time to roll my eyes at her, she continued laughing as she put all her weight and laid on top of me.

"Madaya ka eh," I whispered, "You know my weakness. And I know na bibitinin mo lang ako because you'll get hungry for pancakes before I even started eating you."

She abruptly raised her upper body and put her hand to cover my mouth.

"Jusko ka! Ang aga-aga ang harot ng utak at bunganga mo!"

She was as red as a tomato.

"Campf hepf it," I tried to talk.

She buried her face on my neck because of embarrassment, "Kasalanan ko ba kung maaga akong nagugutom sa umaga. And you're still not calling me–"

"I love you, babe," I said as I slowly wrapped her into a tight hug, "I love you so much."

She sighed with a smile. I knew because I can feel her lips moved on my neck.

We were silent for awhile, savoring every second that we're this close like we don't normally do this every morning, because trust me, we do. That's how clingy we are with each other.

"Hindi mo naman ako iiwan, di'ba?" I asked breaking the peaceful silence.

She gently shake her head as she traced circles on my shoulder.

"Hindi mo 'ko lolokohin? Hindi mo 'ko ipagpapalit sa iba? Or even try ghosting me or whatever that is?" I continued trying to not let her notice the sadness in my voice.
