Alyssa went home a bit tipsy from their hangout. She didn't get drunk that much because she still has to fix her things.
After having a couple of hours with Kim, Ella, Bea, Amy, Dennise and Ara, she went straight home to her nanay Nene's place.
She sat on her bed chuckling about a conversation she had with her friends at the bar.
"Sino ang mag-aakala na ang dating freelance photographer ay magiging isa sa pinakakilalang wedding photographer sa New York!" Kim blurted out.
"Yasss! That's New York, baby!" Bea exclaimed spilling some of her beer.
"Iba ka na, Ly. Dati, nag-aayos ka lang ng camera lens ng ibang photographer. Ngayon, may sarili ka nang studio sa NYC in just three years!" Dennnise said in awe.
"Sipag at tiyaga lang." Alyssa humbly said.
"I never doubted that people out there would recognize your talent, Ly. Ever since we met, I knew you'll make it far." Amy said tapping Alyssa's shoulder.
"Ang haba ng English, bes. Paki-translate nga." Ella joked.
"Huwag mo nga pagdiskitahan yung English ni Amy, di na nga namin pinapansin yang pag-ubos mo sa pulutan eh. Inuman 'to, pots. Hindi buffet." Ara said that made everyone laugh.
"Kimmy, oh. Inaaway ako ni Ara." Ella pouted.
"Wafs, 'wag mo naman awayin si Ellapots. Mamaya mag-order pa ulit ng pagkain 'to at tayo pabayarin." Kim laughed.
Ella slapped Kim's nape and stuck her tongue out to everyone and eventually laughed with them.
"I missed you, guys." Alyssa suddenly said.
"Awwe. We missed you too, ate Ly!" Bea stood up and hugged her ate, and everyone did the same.
Alyssa was in the middle of a group hug as she closed her eyes and murmured to herself.
"I miss you, babe."
"Kumusta ka na?" Alyssa said while holding Mika's photo she took out of her wallet.
It was a candid shot she secretly took years ago, she kept it hidden and with her at all times.

"I miss you, babe." Alyssa caressed the photo like how she used to caress Mika's face while she was sleeping.
"I'm so sorry."
A lone tear fell from her eyes before kissing Mika's photo and drift off to sleep.
