    JUST ANOTHER BLONDE
        Mallory watched Graham as he watched Nova.
        She didn't know if he liked the blonde; Mal couldn't read him that well just yet.
        Next to her, Riley snorted. "Take a picture, it lasts longer." 
        Malory turned her head around, her lips in a firm line. "What's the appeal?" She asked, frustrated. "She's just another leggy blonde who's probably made her way around half the male population of this school."
        Riley chuckled, shutting the copy of 13 Reasons Why that she was reading. "I don't know," she said thoughtfully, "maybe they're just easier to score." 
        "Probably," Mallory muttered, feeling strangely satisfied. She knew she wasn't easy. She had standards unlike the popular ones like Nova or Monica or even the wild cheerleaders.  
        For a dark moment, she wondered how many of them Graham had bedded. Sure she was new to this school, but she knew the type like Graham. The football-playing, popular, top-of-the-food-chain type. 
        Boys like him didn't do relationships; they wanted quick. They wanted easy. And they'd go about landing girls, and breaking hearts left and right as if each girl was just another notch on their belts. 
        But Mallory also knew he was capable of change. He was capable of settling down if he found the right girl. 
        The kind of girl who was going to make him fight for her. Chase after her. The kind of girl he'd know he can build a future with. 
        And Mallory knew just how to be that girl.
