Dear Matthew,

You were the worlds best friend you know? I'm now 99% sure their wasn't anything you wouldn't of done or have taken on for me.

At sixteen when we'd decided we were clearly undateable because no one ever agreed to go on a date with us, people rejected us or just thought we were something to walk over.

You were my best friend and I love how you were always there by my side with the jokes and master plans and this one happens to be the one I was most grateful for.

You came through and delivered as always.

It was originally a joke to lighten our moods but later on that year when you saw the reality of our love lives, you decided you meant it.

I love you because when we were sixteen we made that pact.

You know the marriage one, if we weren't married by thirty, we'd marry each other.

But obviously you and that plan are both fucked up now.
