Matthew,

You finally text me today. The first reply to me in months.

The first reply since my string of cursing, pleading and begging for you to come home.

What did it say you ask? Well. You told me what I'm doing is only hurting me more and that I should stop.

Nothing could hurt more than what you did.

But hey, I guess I now know that you do read these letters; or at least some of them.

And then; you told me to let go.

Except...

I don't like the saying 'if you love something you should let it go'. because when you love something, your natural instinct is to hold on to it with all your might, to cherish it and never let it go.

So if you truly love something or someone, that's what you should do.

Not let it go like you did Matt. That's the dumbest thing you could ever do.
