"Now we've talked about the show and all it's highly anticipated twists. So, on to you and your background. You've had a rollercoaster upbringing haven't you?"
"I'm not going to say I had it easy growing up or whilst I worked my way through university, which is college to you guys of course, because I didn't I had a lot to compete with but I know there's people who are a hell of a lot worse off than me, so I can't complain about my life at all," I smiled fondly, proud of my response.
"You lost your brother during that period right?" The interviewer asked softly, testing the grounds with that question. She'd obviously been told to ask it and was unsure if I would be alright with it.
"I did yes, Sebastian had suffered all his life with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and one night that did lead to a fatal and sudden cardiac death,"
"But you remained strong and strived for your life's ambitions, that's very admirable,"
"I struggled with it for some time and I did hit a bump for a few months, but I did come out stronger and I realised nobody was going to fix me except myself, so I picked myself up and vowed I'd make Sebastian proud. I had the help of my older brother Jensen and I made sure I'd make something of myself that they'd both be proud of,"
"Now you have quite the cast on board this show and we'll meet them in a second but does that make this a more nerve wracking TV debut?"
"Oh god yes, the day I found out I had the role was actually the day I decided to make a fresh start here in Brooklyn and as my manager told me the cast I was like 'crap I can't do this, those are some big effing names' but when I did finally meet them they were all so welcoming and chilled out that it put me at ease straight away," we both chuckled; this interview wasn't bad at all, I wasn't even sure why I'd been so nervous.
"Are you all close now?"
"We really are and I'd consider them all my best friends, it's like I've known them my entire life and I trust them wholeheartedly with my life,"
"That's sweet but hard to find in a modern cast nowadays because so many actors and actresses work on multiple projects at a time and don't really see much of one another during filming. Should we bring a few of them out?"
"Lets!" As the event producers quickly brought out seven more chairs I saw one by one my cast mates file out and head towards us.
"Okay, let's give this cast a Brooklyn welcome, please give it up for Tyler Posey, Ryan Guzman, Kit Harington, Sam Claflin, Lucy Hale, Nathalie Emmanuel and Shay Mitchell! You guys get comfy and take a seat, tea or coffee or water anyone?"
"I can guarantee the four Brits will have tea while the rest of us choose coffee," Ryan chuckled.
"See this is what we have to put up with all day, the small stereotypical English digs," Sam laughed, "What was it the other day?"
"Why would you call a flashlight a torch? A torch is a stick with fire on the end!" Kit mocked Lucy's words from the day before.
"Or what the hell is a rucksack? That's a damn backpack!" Nathalie added in a American accent.
"The other day we were filming away from set so we packed up the car and drove to the beach for a night scene we had, and I turned to Lucy with a bag and said "put this in the boot please" and she had absolutely no idea what I was talking about," Sam exclaimed, "She was like what's a boot? Boots are for your feet Sam, what are you on about now?"
"Boots are for your feet though! That thing at the back of your car is a trunk!" Lucy laughed defensively.
"British people say things backwards, not us!" Tyler laughed.
"Actually, we're actually one of the only countries to make alterations to the English language. Most places do use phrases like these odd people," Shay shrugged, "We use different grading in schools, different terms for school stages,"
"Shay you're on the wrong side stop defending them!" Ryan laughed, "Yeah this is an ongoing thing, we do tease the odd English people,"
"Well I'm biased so I can't really comment here, though Shay is right and we actually as a country are known to have our own Americanisms on the English language. Anyway moving on, to discuss your characters and how they start out this series, Ivy, your character Evangeline-"
I switched it off, as soon as I entered the room, unable to watch her on screen anymore, even though Kat and Alberto were watching it eagerly.
"She made it," Kat smiled.
