I stared out the window, watching the rain drops hit the window.
"It's so stupid now that I think about...you used to love-love jumping in puddles."
The mystery boy's words echoed through my head and I smiled.
"Amb?" Thomas took my hand and looked up at me hopefully.
"Yes? Sorry I just got distracted," I said, trying to tear my gaze away from the rain.
"I was just telling you what the doctor told me," he grinned.
"And? When can I leave?" I said excitedly.
Thomas grinned and said,"Today."
I grinned in return and Thomas stood up.
"We can leave in an hour. My cars in the parking lot," he said, closing the curtains.
I gazed sadly at closed curtain then smiled as Thomas took my hand.
"Yeah it'll be great," I smiled.

I shielded my eyes from the sunlight, noise flooding me.
"You ok?" Thomas asked, walking up from behind me and lacing his hand with mine,"The rain cleared up pretty quickly huh?"
"Yeah it's just...there's so much sound and the colors are so bright," I smiled.
Thomas laughed as if this amused him.
"You sound as if you haven't seen the world for a long time," Thomas laughed.
"You sound as if you haven't seen the world for a long time."
I frowned at his words, trying to gauge how long I had been in the coma.
"Thomas...how long was I..." I hesitated ," how long was I in my coma?"
Thomas' grip tightened and his grin turned strained.
"A year."
I blinked, his words impacting me.
"A year?"
"Yeah. Long time huh?" Thomas shrugged.
I frowned, voices floating in my head again.
"You are not leaving me for him!"
"Let go! You're hurting me!"
A blood curdling scream.
"Thomas what happened? What did Percy do?" I asked.
Thomas stared at the traffic then sighed.
"He got jealous Ambrosia. Of us. Of me. And when you tried to leave him, he hit you with a vase. Knocked you pretty bad and at the top of the stairs. The doctors say that's why your coma lasted so long. I thought...I thought you were dead when I found you..." Thomas' voice cracked, raw with emotion.
"Hey hey, don't worry. I'm still here see?" I said, squeezing his hand.
He smiled and sniffed, squeezing my hand back.
His opened his mouth to say something when his eyes flared with anger and his teeth gritted.
"What the hell is he doing here?" He said through gritted teeth.
I spun round and followed Thomas' gaze, freezing when I saw a familiar face.
The teenage boy had pitch black hair, a permanent smirk and dark jeans, a black shirt, black converses and a leather jacket.
He walked towards us with his hands stuffed in his pockets.
"Ambrosia stand behind me," Thomas pushed me behind him , standing in front of me protectively.
"Oh hey. Golden boy!" The boy called, his smirk growing wider.
Thomas said nothing, just shielded me.
"Cat got your tongue Golden boy?"
"Leave," Thomas said coldly.
"It's the hospital Golden boy! You have no right to tell me to leave!" The boy laughed.
I stared over Thomas' shoulder at the boy and my heart fluttered as I recognized him.
Percy.
