"You kissed me," I said, completely shocked.
"Excuse me?" Percy's smirk faltered, replaced as his eyebrows turned down in confusion.
"In the-uh-I mean three years ago. You kissed me, when me and Thomas were together. When you were his best friend," I said, taking a step towards him.
His smirk grew.
"You enjoy it?" Percy asked, leaning against the door frame.
Anger flared and before I knew what I was doing, my hand flew through the air and connected with his left cheek.
His head snapped to the side, a red mark on his cheek.
"You're as feisty as ever," he said, licking his lips and smirking at me.
"Can I come in now?" I said, panting.
Percy smirked and mockingly moved out the way, beckoning me with his arm.
I huffed and walked into the hallway, marveling at how familiar it was.
I sat down on the worn down couch, staring around his lounge.
The walls were bare, with spots lighter than others as if pictures had been taken down, there were two more couches on either side of mine angled so they all almost faced each other.
A flat screen tv stared at me blankly, a small glass coffee table in the middle, a few take out boxes left on it.
He never did like to clean up. Even when I came ove-
I started as the thought passed through my head.
I begin standing up, when Percy emerged into the lounge.
He sat to my left, the bare walk behind him, smirking.
He gestured half heartedly.
"Please- make yourself at home," he mocked.
My eyes widened as I realized it was rude of me to just sit.
"Sorry-that was rude of me. It's-it was jus so-"
"Familiar?" He interrupted.
"Yeah...how did you know?" I asked.
His smirk faltered and his eyes grew sad, but only for a second.
"You and Thomas used to visit a lot. This place was your second home," he shrugged.
"Then you were best friends," I said.
He seemed to realize his mistake and sighed.
"That was a long time ago Princess. Things have changed," he said, running a hand through his hair.
"What changed?" I asked, leaning forward.
But Percy was done answering my questions and his smirk widened.
"Any particular reason for you visiting?" He asked, his finger bouncing on his knee.
"Uh-yeah." I handed him his jacket, standing up.
"This the only reason? I coulda got it from one of Thomas' friends. Or I coulda come and got it myself," he said, taking it.
"I-uh- I also wanted to say thank you. For rescuing me...again. Thanks Percy," I said.
"Don't mention it Princess," he said, setting the jacket down next to him,"Is really all you came here for? To give me a jacket and say thanks?"
"I came here for answers," I said, leaning forward,"Do you have them?"
"Depends on the questions," he smirked.
"Ok...why did you take all the pictures down?" I asked.
"I'm not answering that," he said blankly.
"Why did you kiss me?" I asked.
"Why do you care?"
"Why do you always protect me?"
"Why do you always get yourself in trouble?"
"Why won't you answer any of my questions?" I said, growing frustrated.
Percy stood up, his eyes flashing.
"I think you should go. Thomas won't approve of you seeing me," he said, stalking down the hallway.
I followed him, stumbling as I walked through the doorway.
Percy stood against the doorframe, staring at me with his piercing eyes.
"Thanks for the visit Princess. But next time just deliver it in the mail or something."
I opened my mouth to say something but he closed the door, cutting me off .
I narrowed my eyes as I turned away, stalking down the path, one thought in my head.
Jackass.
