"We're here," Thomas said, his hand around my waist.

I cringed at the loud music, the house brightly lit and half drunk people dancing in the front lawn.

"Well, lets go," Thomas said, leading me forward.

He seemed to be in his element as we walked in the door, lights flashing as music blared from some unseen speaker.

I shied away as a drunk boy my age stumbled past me, throwing up on the grass before passing out.

"Where are we going?" I asked as Thomas lead me into the crowded room.

I squirmed as hundreds of sweaty bodies writhed, more than a few bumping me.

"Hang on, we're almost there," Thomas grinned.

He seemed completely natural in this mess and I wondered if we'd gone to parties like this often.

He lead me over to a corner in the room and said "Wait here. I'll be back soon."

"Thomas wait!" I grabbed for his arm, panicking.

He turned and smirked at me.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Where are you going?" I asked quietly.

"I'm getting us drinks. I'll be back soon Amb. Don't worry," he said, kissing my forehead.

I felt the tension leave my body as he left and relaxed.

I watched him disappear in the sea of bodies, anxiously awaiting his return.

"Oh hey look who it is. It's that bitch," a familiar voice said, sending shivers down my spine.

"What're you doing here Little Bitch? All alone? Well maybe we can have some fun," Matt said, leaning close to me.

His pond scum green eyes shone cruelly.

"L-Leave me alone. Percy- Percy's going to-to hurt yo-you," I stuttered as he grabbed a strand of my hair.

He rolled it in his fingers and smirked.

"Percy's not here Little Bitch. That means there's no one to protect you. Which means I can have some fun with you," he murmured.

"Oh? I wouldn't be so sure Matt," a voice said, right before Matt was ripped away from me and punched.

Matt crumpled like a paper doll clutching his bloody nose.

"What the hell?!" He yelled, blood pumping through his fingers.

"You should learn to treat girls with more respect," the shadowed figure spat.

Matt swore as the figure took my hand and lead me outside into the back yard which was less crowded. Huge trees stood everywhere, neatly trimmed and in the middle of the yard an elaborate fountain sat, the water flowing silver in the moonlight.

The figure lead me to the side of the fountain, taking off his jacket and draping it over my shoulders.

"You ok?" He asked.

"Y-yeah Thanks," I stammered, pulling the jacket tighter.

"I thought my warning would've been enough to deter that jerk. But I'll have to be more thorough next time," he said, that familiar smirk on his lips.

Then he laughed lightly.

"It's seems every time we meet, I'm rescuing you. What's with that Princess? You miss me that much? Next time you should told just call me," Percy smirked.
